I grasp. At the end, fiercely shake the Damaru. The skull in the left hand and the three-pronged trident. Likewise, holding with a noose, he binds. The wrathful one opens his mouth, baring his fangs. Three eyes, the wrathful one's hair blazes upwards. On the forehead, a tilaka of vermillion is applied. On the crown of the head, the immovable king is established and relied upon. A garland of fifty human heads dripping with blood. The head is adorned with five precious dry skulls. Emerge from the tree and accept the Torma. (392) Please accept this offering of the Torma. For the yogi, myself and retinue. Freedom from illness, long life, and power. Glory, fame, and good fortune. Obtaining all vast enjoyments. Pacifying and increasing, and so forth. Please grant me the accomplishments of actions. May the one with vows protect me. May all accomplishments assist me in emptiness. May untimely death and diseases, harmful spirits and obstacles be eliminated. May bad dreams and bad omens, bad actions be eliminated. May the world be peaceful and the harvest good, May grains increase and Dharma flourish, May happiness and excellence be (393) complete, May all desires of the mind be accomplished. Pray for the desired purpose. To the Lama and Protector, inseparable. I respectfully take refuge. May I eliminate all sentient beings' remaining afflictions. Three times. Om Vajrasattva Samaya, etc., ask for forgiveness, make aspirations, and speak auspicious words. This concise and easy-to-carry Torma ritual of the Six-Armed Wisdom Protector was written by Taranatha at the Gangkar Palace at the request of Nyima Namgyal, the attendant of Gangkar Dorje Den. (394) (395) Herein is the ritual called "The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel White Protector's Fulfillment and Supplication, Showering the Rains of Desires." (396) The following is the order for performing the front generation, practice, offering, and extensive fulfillment and supplication of the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel White Protector, the uncommon Dharma protector of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu lineage: In a place of perfect abundance, arrange special supports such as painted images, and whatever offerings and Tormas are available. Perform refuge, bodhicitta, and the four immeasurables in the common way. Bless the nectar as the deity. The offering is: Om Vajra Amrita, purify with this. (397) Svabhava, purify. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ, offerings arising from "zhuba." Foot washing water, flowers, incense, perfume, food, musical instruments, and other outer, inner, and secret offering clouds, filling the entire expanse of space. (398) From the noble Samantabhadra's conduct and vows arise masses of offering clouds, transforming into the nature of pleasing and satisfying the protector and retinue. Oṃ Vajra Argham Ah Hūṃ, up to Oṃ Vajra Shabda Ah Hūṃ. Bless with the mudra and mantra of the space treasury, and Oṃ Vajra Sphara Khaṃ Svāhā. Purify with Oṃ Svabhāva. From emptiness, within a vast ashoka forest, arises a triangular dharma source, white on the outside and red on the inside, marked by a red mountain of fire. In its center, from paṃ (Tibetan: པྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: paṃ) arises an eight-petaled lotus. At the center of the lotus, from raṃ (Tibetan: རྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: raṃ) arises a solar mandala. Upon the solar mandala, from gaṃ (Tibetan: གྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: गं, Sanskrit Romanization: gaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: gaṃ) arise two Gaṇapati, lords of hosts, in a reclining posture. Above them, from hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: hūṃ) of the color of mercury (399) radiate light, offering to the noble ones, dispelling the suffering of poverty of all sentient beings. Again, they gather and dissolve, completely transforming, from which arises the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Protector, the color of whose body is white like Mount Kailash, tinged with a reddish glow. One face, six arms, three eyes darting in the ten directions, possessing an enchanting demeanor. A smiling yet wrathful face, with slightly bared fangs. The hair, beard, and eyebrows are reddish-yellow and stand erect. The forehead is smeared with red sindhura. Adorned with a crown of five dry skulls and a necklace of fifty fresh skulls. Among the six arms (400), the first of the right hands holds a curved knife aloft in the sky, the second holds a wish-fulfilling jewel, the king of wish-granting power, at the heart, the third plays a sandalwood ḍamaru, thereby subjugating the ḍākinīs. The first of the left hands holds a skull cup filled with amrita, containing a vase filled with various jewels, resting on the left thigh, bestowing all desired attainments. The second holds a trident that destroys the three poisons. The third holds a blazing jewel hook that attracts the three realms. Adorned with eight jewel ornaments: a jewel crown, earrings, necklace, armlets, bracelets (401), anklets, finger rings, and a girdle. The upper body is covered with an elephant hide, and the lower body is clad in a tiger skin.
