May all actions of body, speech, and mind, whatever is done, be beneficial to sentient beings, may the ocean of samsara be emptied, and may perfect Buddhahood be attained! (804) (805) This is the "Prayer Related to the Jataka Tales of the Great Sage Shakyamuni Buddha, Spontaneously Accomplishing the Two Benefits." By the blessings of the Buddhas and their retinues of the ten directions, and by the power of Shakyamuni Buddha's aspiration and the great truth, may all the prayers made for the benefit of beings be quickly accomplished! The guide, the holy son of King Suddhodana, the radiant, immaculate youth Pakshita, Joyful Vision, Moon Joy, the potter Good Intelligence, like dust of the ocean, generated the mind of enlightenment (806), and made five hundred great prayers. Just as the Immovable One and other Buddhas of the ten directions first went towards enlightenment, may all future beings be established in enlightenment! Good meaning, great generosity, and extreme joy, love and fierce diligence enter the ocean, benefiting others, establishing peace in the world, all deliverance and Meaningful Accomplishment, Crest Jewel, parents protect beloved objects, all given away, Wealthy Virtue, merit and power, innate, I am able, by the power of merit, many beings are established in glory, may countless such ones accomplish the benefit of beings! Golden-colored Shibi, Brahma-given, etc., lawfully governing the kingdom, protecting from the fear of famine (807), Shudraka, Indra with hands, Padma, fish and Deva, taking bodies with flesh and blood, protecting all beings from disease and famine, establishing them in Dharma, the Four Great Kings and the three with form and moonlight, with great compassion gave away their heads and bodies, may countless such ones accomplish the benefit of beings! Ruru, Sharabha (809) with himself, Also rescuing from the great fear of the killing enemy. Immeasurable like that benefiting beings... Lion, Earth Protector, Xiangxiang, two moons, Even looking at the executioner with joy and respect. Gatu, Fish King, Shaozi, Laichen, With life in danger, saving with words of truth. In immeasurable countless eighteen great kalpas, Abiding in samsara, accomplishing the great meaning of samsara. Adorned Zawu shows the result of karma. Immeasurable like that benefiting beings... When transformed into bad wealth, realms as numerous as dust in ten directions, Nourishing with the flesh and blood of the body obtained. When transformed into lamplight, realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in ten directions, Satisfying them with seven rains of jewels (810). When transformed into a garland of sun incense, realms as numerous as a hundred kotis in ten directions, Giving Dharma, wealth, and medicine to those in the age of five degenerations, Giving to immeasurable beings, placing them in Bodhi. Immeasurable like that benefiting beings... When transformed into space, giving away the body for a thousand years, In countless years, in countless realms, Placing immeasurable beings in Bodhi through giving. After becoming Indra, in immeasurable realms in ten directions, In countless years, with the form of yakshas, Placing beings in the ten virtues. With the power of loving-kindness, protecting the four types of animals. Immeasurable like that benefiting beings... Merit Light, renouncing the kingdom, Buddha, Offering to a hundred thousand kotis ninety-four. Protecting the true Dharma (811), also proclaiming the Dharma to beings, Especially with a pure mind, surpassing Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, The precepts as numerous as dust particles.
