It is hoped that the blessings of the Lama and the Yidam deity will be perfected through the crucial connection with the body. Thus, these four preliminaries (455) do not have new, previously unshown foundations, so the meditation section is not listed separately. It can be completed in one Dharma session, or two or three, etc., as desired. Secondly, the main practice has four sections: seizing clear light, utilizing the path, blending, and ultimate conclusion. The first part has three aspects: seizing clear light by relying on the selflessness mother, seizing clear light by relying on the letter A, and seizing clear light by relying on the Lama. The first is: the general preliminaries of the session are similar to what was said during the illusory body, but the difference is that even if you visualize the root Lama as his actual body, you should visualize his appearance with hair tied in a topknot, wearing six bone ornaments, and a tiger skin wrapped around his waist, etc., with charnel ground attire. If you visualize Vajradhara, you should also visualize Vajradhara Heruka, peaceful or wrathful, with three eyes, and his body complete with eight charnel ground adornments (456). During the supplication, add "Please seize the clear light" at the end. After that, temporarily visualize yourself as appearing ordinary, above the cerebrum at the crown of the head, below the skull, visualize a lotus and sun disc cushion, about half a bean in size. On top of that, visualize Vajra Nairatmya, corresponding to that seat, with a blue body, holding a curved knife, skull cup, and khatvanga, in a dancing posture with her left leg extended, a small body but with complete limbs. Visualize a white "Ah" (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, literal meaning: Ah) at her heart, as if drawn with fine wool, delicate, bright, and shimmering. From there, light radiates, first purifying the head, which has the nature of delusion, and then filling the inside of the body, purifying the three elements of flesh, blood, and bones, and visualizing the body transforming into a light body. If visualizing as the Yidam's body, then according to the Kadampa tradition, visualize the letter "Ka" (Tibetan: ཀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: क, Sanskrit Romanization: ka, literal meaning: Ka) in the Sahaja form of Shri Chakrasamvara. There, focus the mind on the letter A at the heart of Nairatmya, and meditate slightly (457). Then, light radiates from that A, filling the body of Nairatmya. From there, light radiates, and the inside of your own body becomes clear and bright, like lighting a lamp in a dark cave. Again, it radiates outward from your pores, and visualize all appearances becoming clear and bright. In the same way, again

First, focus the mind on the "A" (ཨ, A, a, A) in the heart. Also, while emitting rays of light, etc., practice. Focus the mind on the "A" (ཨ, A, a, A) in the heart for a long time. After repeating this several times, let the awareness relax naturally and rest wherever it is. Repeat this practice constantly. In the beginning, exert effort for many days and practice in this way. Sometimes, a state of ease and clarity, free from conceptual thoughts, will arise spontaneously, without expectation or doubt. If this happens, simply rest in that state. When this state disappears, practice with strong intention as before. (458) When going to sleep at night, focus the mind on the "A" (ཨ, A, a, A) in the heart of the selfless mother and then go to sleep. This is the forty-third contemplation. Second, relying on the letter "A" (ཨ, A, a, A): The preliminary practice is the same as before. In the center of your body, which you visualize as the deity, visualize a white central channel, as clear as a small whip. Inside that channel, either directly above the navel or four fingers below the navel, visualize a white, clear, and radiant "A" (ཨ, A, a, A). Hold the mind on that "A" (ཨ, A, a, A) for a moment. Light radiates from the "A" (ཨ, A, a, A), filling the central channel. From there, light radiates, making the inside of your body very clear. Light radiates from the pores of your skin, filling all appearances with vivid clarity. When sleeping, focus the mind on the "A" (ཨ, A, a, A) below the navel. The other methods of practice are the same as before. This is the forty-fourth contemplation. Third, relying on the Lama for support: Again, perform the preliminary practice as before. (459) In the heart of your visualized deity, on a lotus and moon seat, if you visualize your root Lama as Vajradhara, then Vajradhara's body color is white, the same as the usual image. If you visualize the Lama in his actual form, then visualize the Lama with fair skin, radiating white light, with a gentle smile, and eyes gazing peacefully. The size of the body, if large, is about four fingers high; if small, it is about the size of a thumb. Visualize according to the appropriate size in between. In the Lama's heart, visualize a white and slightly reddish bindu, or visualize a very white bindu, either is fine. The size of the bindu should also be determined according to the size of the Lama's body. If you visualize the Lama's body as about four fingers high, then the bindu is about the size of a mustard seed; if you visualize the Lama's body as about the size of a thumb, then the bindu is about the size of a small bean. This can also be used as a reference for intermediate sizes. In any case, the bindu in the Lama's heart that radiates light,
