It is in the appearance of the dream. Thinking, what is there to be afraid of in the appearance of the dream? Just let it fall. Just as it is about to fall to the ground, think of disappearing immediately, or flying up lightly (423), and staying on the edge of the cliff as before. Practice like this again and again. For this contemplation, it is fine to visualize oneself as the Yidam, or to practice in an ordinary way, so meditate without certainty. Also, it is said that one body is left on the top of the cliff, and from that body, another body connected by a rope of light moves up and down. But this is not mentioned in the oral instructions. Twenty-third contemplation. Second, training the body with the mind: The preliminary practice is the same as before. When visualizing oneself as the body of the Yidam, each of the nine doors has a blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हुं,Hūṃ) syllable radiating great light, and all the pores are filled with countless tiny blue Hūṃ syllables shining with light, without any gaps. All the Hūṃ syllables have their heads facing inward. Practice the intention of dreaming intensely. From all the Hūṃ syllables, like releasing a blue, clear rope of light, rays of light shine into the body. The lights gather (424) and merge, becoming one. They also cover the outside of the body. The form of the deity disappears, and everything becomes a single ball of light. Again, practice the intention of dreaming intensely. That ball of light gradually disappears from the edges. It becomes thinner and thinner, about the size of a fist. About the size of a thumb. About the size of a small bean. About the size of a mustard seed. Finally, practice until it is invisible, and rest the mind in non-discrimination. If discrimination arises again, then practice the intention of dreaming intensely. Twenty-fourth contemplation. Third, practicing with the Selfless Mother: The rest is the same as before. The main part is: In front of oneself, visualized as the solitary Heruka Chakrasamvara, visualize Vajra Nairatmya, her body blue, holding a curved knife, skull cup, and khatvanga, full of youth and bliss. If the body is large, it is about an arrow or a cubit in length, and if it is small, it is about four fingers or a thumb in length. Use whichever is comfortable between these. Clearly visualize the mantra syllables Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,oṃ āḥ hūṃ,ओं आः हुं,Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ) in her secret place. (425) In the state of intense dream recollection, recite that mantra twenty-one times or as much as possible, and from that, blue rays of light emerge. When they strike the body of oneself visualized as Heruka, oneself

The body is even bluer and clearer than before, becoming brighter. Think that the whole body is filled with bliss. Again, with the intention of dreaming, focusing the mind on the body of the Selfless Mother, that Selfless Mother herself transforms into a blue light, slowly dissolving into a state of comfortable experience. One's own self appears as the body of Heruka, and the light entering through the secret gate pervades the entire inside of the body. It becomes even bluer and clearer than before, becoming brighter. Believe that the whole body and mind are filled with bliss. Think that it becomes clearer and clearer, merging and dissolving into the sky. Stay there for a while. Again, practice the intention of dreaming intensely as before. Regarding this contemplation (426), Khedrup Gyaltsen Bumpa said to meditate on हूँ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) at the tip of one's senses, but he does not do so in oral instructions, saying it is a confusion or omission of Suka. Twenty-fifth contemplation sequence. Fourth, practicing with intention is: preliminary practices such as Guru Yoga are as before. For this, it is not necessary to fix a basis for contemplation, because it is practiced without a fixed style only with intention, so it is called practicing with intention. That is, the one that causes sickness and suffering in my body seems to be in bed. This appearance is the appearance of a dream. This body is also the mind-body of a dream. With the thought that whatever is practiced in the appearance of a dream and the mind-body will become skilled, continuously generate a strong intention. For the pillars, walls, roofs, etc. in front of you, practice passing through upwards, downwards, to that side, to this side, without any obstruction. In addition, there are entering small holes, etc., as well as cliffs, (427) water, fire, wild animals, etc., trampling on them. Flying in the sky, entering the ground, walking on water, etc., in short, it is enough to practice in whatever way you think of. In particular, for objects of attachment that are difficult to calm down with conceptual thoughts, as well as fear, terror, shame, and things that cause disgust, sometimes directly trample on them. Sometimes, with the intention of illusion and dream, make them without any reliance. Sometimes, practice reversal meditation without fear. Sometimes, destroy them without obstruction in an instant. Twenty-sixth contemplation sequence. Training the mind with the body is training the skill of dreaming. Training the body with the mind is luminosity and
