raksa raksa(藏文:རཀྵ་རཀྵ།,梵文天城体:रक्ष रक्ष,梵文罗马拟音:rakṣa rakṣa,汉语字面意思:守护守护)是守护。

I did it this way: I prayed to the five families of deities who appeared in the sky in front of me, and visualized that a goddess emanated from their hearts and bestowed empowerment, until the sky in front of me became clear. This is the sequence of purifying the body. This ritual contains the meaning of bathing yoga obtained from other sadhanas. Other schools consider it a branch of yoga. It is not necessary to perform this practice during breaks between sessions. This school considers it part of the ritual and belongs to the category of meditative yoga, and because there are things to be purified, purifiers, and methods of purification, this school is more superior than other schools. (103) Then, bless the inner offering and partake of it, reciting the mantra of Amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Chinese literal meaning: nectar) is the sequence of protection. This is similar to the way other schools purify the mouth by partaking of nectar. However, through unique mantras and methods of purification, this practice becomes even more superior. Among them, Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: om, Chinese literal meaning: Om) means auspiciousness. Amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत, Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Chinese literal meaning: nectar) is nectar. Vaca (Tibetan: བཱ་ཙ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वाच, Sanskrit Romanization: vāca, Chinese literal meaning: speech) is speech, that is, language. Sanskrit Romanization: rakṣa rakṣa, Chinese literal meaning: protect protect) is to protect. Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) is the mantra of protection. Phat (Tibetan: ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Phat) means to destroy the harmer. Then, abiding in the non-conceptual awareness is the sequence of purifying the mind. Among them, the so-called self-mind refers to the nature of mind, which is the nature of mind after distinguishing between mind and mind-nature. Although it is referred to by negative names such as infinite, non-conceptual, inexpressible, emptiness, etc., it is not merely empty, but is originally manifested as self-aware wisdom. Although it is referred to by positive or existent or exclusive names such as mind, mind-nature, wisdom, co-emergent (104), and Bliss, it is free from all grasping and grasped, liberated from all elaborations, transcends all realms of knowledge and expression, and is the nature of ultimate emptiness. Therefore, the five sense consciousnesses such as eye consciousness, and the conceptual thoughts of mental factors such as desire, can both recognize objects such as form, and can also generate conceptual thoughts. And it itself is neither conceptual thought nor non-conceptual awareness, this awareness that acts as both object and subject, from the perspective of being able to manifest external phenomena, is the mind consciousness, and internally it is able to manifest its own phenomena.

From the perspective of the Victorious One, it is the afflicted mind. Knowing is the general characteristic of all things, merely awareness, and no internal or external discriminations can arise. The state of being like that is the ālaya-vijñāna. As for the minds of ordinary individuals like ourselves right now, there is nothing other than those in other places and directions (105). There is also no other time or circumstance. Although it is not clear in other times and states, from the wisdom of absorption to the space between the ālaya-vijñāna, it has been primordially beyond all things, and there is no need for it to be those things. In short, it seems as if all of those things are gathered together. This is what appears as the wisdom of the nature of mind, free from grasping and being grasped. However, for the yogis of the present time, the way it appears is just that the mind of reality is only a partial representation, a subtle aspect. To fully possess the characteristics as described in the mind of the ālaya-vijñāna and the dharmatā, and to clearly see it manifest, is only possible through the wisdom of the noble ones. If you ask how it is spoken of in the Dharma, although it is impossible to exhaustively describe all the terms mentioned in the scriptures here, the essence is that the ālaya-vijñāna is said to be the place where all the habitual tendencies of saṃsāra and (106) the path and the result are gathered, existing in the form of seeds and maturation. All the sūtras and tantras say that the nature of mind, the ālaya-jñāna, is unchanging, one, and free from one and many. In particular, the secret mantra also speaks of the great bliss that is co-emergent. Therefore, most ordinary yogis of the present time understand only that there is an unclear, immovable awareness from the opposite side of the ālaya-vijñāna. If one does not know today how the seeds were planted in one's own mind-stream by doing good and evil yesterday, and what the differences in transformation are, then how can one realize how all the habitual tendencies from beginningless saṃsāra are gathered, and the parts of seeds and maturation? Furthermore, from experiencing something that cannot be grasped anywhere and can appear as anything, one can only infer that the ultimate nature of mind, the essence of the Sugata (107), exists. Other than that, it seems unlikely that one will actually experience all aspects of that itself, and actually experience the co-emergent great bliss.
