Then, the holder feels comfortable and relaxed inside the body, melts into light, the inside of the body is completely filled with white light, and finally disappears, abiding in the state of Mahamudra. Fourth, taming with intention: Whatever coarse or subtle outer objects and inner feelings are seen, think of them as being in a dream. Train your body to come and go as you please. Third, increasing dreams is divided into two types: increasing as intentional union, and increasing as whatever is to be tamed. The first is to focus on the earth mandala and think that this is in a dream. Regarding the appearance of the dream, whatever is increased is thought of as being increased, increasing from one to ten, ten to a hundred, a hundred to a thousand, a thousand to ten thousand, and from ten thousand to a hundred thousand, etc., increasing to the extent that the mind can accommodate, and contemplating in a reverse order until the space is filled. After that (810), the water mandala is also increased as before. Then the fire mandala. Then the wind mandala is increased as before. By analogy, whatever coarse or subtle elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, and coarse or subtle sentient beings are seen, think of them as being in a dream, and then increase them as before. The second is to tame as desired, which is divided into two types: worldly taming as desired and transcendental taming as desired. The first is to transform the opponent into something like an insect, and then transform oneself into many small birds, taming them by eating them, etc. For something like a small bird, transform oneself into something like a hawk to tame it. A dog becomes a wolf, a wolf becomes a tiger, a tiger becomes a lion, a person becomes a rakshasa, etc., transforming oneself into one's own nemesis, taming them by killing, binding, beating, etc. The second is, for an opponent like a dragon, transform oneself into a garuda king; for something like a Baikar (811), transform oneself into Hayagriva; for dragon demons and dragon spirits, transform oneself into Manjushri Jñanasattva; for yakshas and rakshasas, transform oneself into Vajrapani Wrathful One, etc., transforming oneself into the same or praised wrathful deities as the nemesis of those demons, taming them by eating their eyeballs, cutting them with weapons, burning them with flames, etc. Fourth, dream transformation is also analogous to this. Fifth, transforming dreams: transform the earth mandala into water, transform the water mandala into fire, transform the fire mandala into wind, contemplate the wind mandala disappearing into the sky, and then observe its nature. This is the world of curses.

The meaning of transformation. Transforming sentient beings means transforming hell beings into hungry ghosts, hungry ghosts into animals, animals into humans (812), humans into asuras, asuras into gods, and gods into Mahamudra. Also, transforming up and down from the realm of gods to hell. Similarly, transforming this impure world into pure lands, etc., one should gain stability in dreams. For all of these, one should think that this is in a dream, and that whatever is transformed in the appearance of a dream can be transformed, which is very important. Sixth, viewing the appearance of places, the body posture and preliminaries are the same as before. In the navel below where one visualizes oneself as the yidam, from the dharma origin or someone holding a skull cup and dancing, countless yidam deities appear. Visualize that they are pleased by partaking of the nectar from below the navel. Visualize the skull cup as white on the outside and red on the inside, filled with nectar. Then, from one's right nostril, Vajra Nairatmya, the white curved knife and (813) the yidam deities, please grant me stability in the appearance of places. After thinking this, Nairatmya pulls out from the left nostril, resides in the sky, and gestures with her hand. First, she indicates the place of hell, then the hungry ghosts, animals, humans, asuras, and the place of the gods. Then, visualize her indicating the pure lands such as Sukhavati. Think like this day and night, and meditate until the appearance of places is stable. Sometimes, trace the origin, dwelling, and cessation of what appears as the vessel and its contents, and finally determine it as the illusion of one's own mind. Also, trace the origin, dwelling, and cessation of the mind, and finally rest in the state of Mahamudra, the union of appearance and emptiness. Therefore, here, the best is without object (814) clear knowing, the intermediate is whatever is thought is clearly seen, the lowest is the mind-body flying in the sky, and the inferior sees the object of focus. Later, Nairatmya causes the appearance of places to arise, A makes the appearance of places self-luminous, and Bindu makes the appearance of places bright. These explanations are all accomplished by practicing only this, profound! (Tibetan, Devanagari, Roman transliteration, literal Chinese meaning) At these times, if obstacles such as confusion, dullness, and pleasure arise, one should generate devotion to the lama and pray. Offer tsok and torma to the yidam protectors, and perform obstacle-clearing rituals.
