From the central brow of the Father, visualize clearly in sequence. The topknot of hair, the manner of holding the vajra and bell, the mouth biting down on four teeth, the gait of the feet, the gracefulness, the pile of flames, and so on, visualize each one clearly, this is visualizing the form. Likewise, visualize each form of the Mother as well. Then visualize the jewel on the crown of the Father's head, the crescent moon, the various vajras, the wheel, the earrings, the necklace, the bracelets, the girdle, the ashes, that is, the six bone ornaments. The headdress and necklace of dry and wet human heads (708). The Mother also has five bone ornaments besides ashes, the headdress and necklace of dry heads, and so on, visualize them in sequence, this is visualizing the ornaments. Visualize both the Father and Mother like that as luminous with the nature of clear emptiness, great bliss, and union. Moreover, from the aspect of clarity, it is unmixed and complete; from the aspect of emptiness, it is considered as the nature of light that is not established in any nature. Visualize like this, this is just one's own mind appearing as the deity body, other than that, be certain that it is not truly established as an external object, like a dream and the moon in water. Just as in a dream, one dreams of various kinds of objects, the objects do not come here, nor does one's own mind go there. Because of the power of the mind being deluded, the mind appears in various ways, but other than that, there is no true establishment, as one knows from the moon in water. Likewise, one's own (709) mind is luminous, the deity body is extremely clear, where does it come from? Where does it go? Where does it abide? If one investigates like this, it does not come from anywhere, it does not go anywhere, it does not abide anywhere, be certain that it is the union of clear emptiness, free from the extremes of elaboration. The deity body that is inseparable from one's own mind like that, even the Buddhas of the past have not seen it, the Buddhas who have not come will not see it, and the Buddhas of the present have not seen it, so think and meditate. Second, the main part is: to meditate on the mind, which is clear emptiness and whose nature is unestablished, as immortal. Among the four objects of immortality, the first is: like that, the clear emptiness of one's own mind that has not been seen by the Buddhas of the three times, sickness is not established on it, the appearance of sickness is the appearance of one's own mind being deluded by the temporary afflictions, ultimately there is no cause of sickness, and without that cause, there is also no result of sickness.

Think thus: In the mind, there is nothing, realize and realize, and meditate. Second, for such a mind, death is not established. Death is merely a name given to the appearance of separation between this physical body and sudden thoughts. If you examine and analyze carefully, until you have completely determined that there is no transferer or transferred, and that emptiness is not true in any place, you should meditate. Third, for such a mind, observe whether there is a cause for becoming a Buddha. In reality, there is no cause for becoming a Buddha, because the nature of the mind in the state of sentient beings and in the state of Buddhahood are both inseparable in clear light emptiness. The nature of the mind is pure, free from all sudden defilements, and it is merely to this that the name Buddha is given. Meditate in this way. Fourth, when considering the nature of such a deity, the clear and empty nature of one's own mind, samsara is not established, because samsara is not truly established. Therefore, thinking that there is no one who wanders in samsara, one should determine that samsara is the appearance of the delusion of one's own mind, and meditate continuously. The third part is the conclusion: Having thus determined that one's own mind is immortal, generate certainty and meditate without distraction. Pray to the Lama, cultivate compassion for sentient beings, and dedicate the merit to perfect enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings. If you exert effort in this way, even if you have committed the five heinous crimes, you can still attain Buddhahood at the time of death or in the bardo. If your obscurations are small and you have good fortune, let alone meditating regularly. At the time of death, even if only the complete or partial form of the deity appears clearly, like the rotation of a cannon, or throwing a stone into a clear pond, or the simultaneous setting of the sun on the fifteenth and the rising of the moon, in the bardo, one can attain Buddhahood in the Sambhogakaya of Heruka, without moving from the Dharmakaya, and continuously benefit sentient beings with the two Rupakayas, according to what is appropriate. (712) Without such instructions, even if one makes great efforts to practice the path, it is like churning water and not obtaining butter, which is futile and meaningless. Having such instructions and practicing them is like drinking the essence extracted from all the sutras and tantras, eliminating the chronic disease of karmic afflictions, and is a definitive instruction for going to the realm of the Dakinis, so it must be practiced. There is no deeper instruction than this, in either China or Tibet. Diligent men and women.
