Pacify whatever harms me, and all evil thoughts and actions towards me and my retinue. If you cannot subdue them peacefully, then please punish them with fierce actions such as killing, expelling, separating, petrifying, tormenting, threatening, and intimidating. To the Lama, the Protector, and his retinue, I offer this torma. May the Black Coat liberate all those who denigrate the Three Jewels, slander the Mahayana, destroy and divide the Dharma, curse the Lama's body, and hate me, the yogi. Māraya phaṭ (Tibetan: མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मारय फट, Sanskrit Romanization: māraya phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Kill!). Samaya (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ།). The right hand holds a curved knife, the middle one holds a rosary, and the lowest one fiercely shakes the ḍāmaru drum. The left hand holds a skull cup and a trident, and similarly holds and binds with a noose. Opening a fierce mouth, baring fangs, three eyes blazing, hair blazing upwards. A tilaka of sindhūra is applied to the forehead, and the crown is sealed with Akṣobhya. Wearing a necklace of fifty bleeding human heads, the head is adorned with five precious skull cups. Appearing from wood and accepting the torma, I prostrate and praise the glorious Six-Armed One. Bhyaḥ (Tibetan: བྷྱོཿ)! In the middle of a churning ocean of blood, blazing with glory on a great mule. A dark blue body, one face and two arms, holding a demon's divination board and a bag of disease. Protecting the Buddha's teachings with emanations of the body, shaking the three realms with emanations of speech, the mind unwavering, benefiting beings. I prostrate to Machik Remati. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable)! The listeners of the Glorious Protector in the four directions, performing the messengers of wisdom command and action, subduing all inauspiciousness, spreading various emanations. We praise the four acting messengers: Indra, Yama, the water god, and the yaksha, the fire god, the rakshasa, the wind god, and the bhūta, and the Brahma above and the earth goddess below. I prostrate and praise the ten emanation protectors of the directions. And the seventy-five glorious protectors, and the ocean of oath-bound hosts.
