Then, starting from taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, extensively practice all the preliminaries until the completion of the inner and outer secret Guru Yoga; if abbreviated, then after taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, simply practice the secret Guru Yoga. As it is said, 'Tummo, the self-igniting bliss-warmth, is the root of the path.' 'Tum' means to devour all that is grasped and apprehended; 'mo' means to generate co-emergent wisdom, hence it is called Tummo. Without relying on external conditions, the inner fire of the 'A' syllable generates self-igniting bliss-warmth, like the main pillar of the path. From taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, the key points of inner and outer Tummo visualization: Among them, outer Tummo is the key point of the body, inner Tummo is the key point of visualization, secret Tummo is the key point of the wind, and suchness Tummo is the key point of the bindu, there are four types. First, outer Tummo is: 'The body possesses seven features.' There are many views on this, but the actual practice is: the legs are in the vajra posture, so that the secret place is close, thus controlling the downward-clearing wind; the two thumbs of the hands press the pulse of the ring finger, and the back of the hands presses the thigh pulse, with an equal posture to control the fire-equalizing wind; the elbows and spine are straightened, controlling the pervasive wind; the shoulders are pushed back, making the vision wide, controlling the life-sustaining wind; the Adam's apple presses the throat knot and bends slightly; the tongue sticks to the upper palate, and there is a slight gap between the teeth and lips, controlling the upward-moving wind; the eyes look at the space between the tip of the nose, so there is a need to control the five branch winds. This is similar to the sitting posture of Vairochana (Tibetan: རྣམ་སྣང་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैरोचन, Sanskrit Romanization: Vairocana, Chinese literal meaning: Vairocana Buddha) in the snowy mountain lake, or because it is transformed into Vairochana through physical exercise, it is called the seven-feature sitting of Vairochana. Secondly, inner Tummo is the key point of visualization: 'Within the empty mandala of the deity.' That is, the white part is visualized as the pure father tantra Chakrasamvara (Tibetan: འཁོར་ལོ་སྡོམ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: ), and the red part is visualized as the pure mother tantra Vajravarahi (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕག་མོ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: ), the two are visualized alternately, and the union of skillful means and wisdom must be practiced. Gathering the grasped and apprehended, all dharmas are in emptiness, visualize a triangular dharma origin, white outside and red inside, the root is thin and downward, and the top is wide and upward, in this vast dharma origin, visualize Mount Meru accumulated by earth, water, fire, and wind in order, above Mount Meru is the lotus and sun disc, and the seat of the destroyer Kalachakra (Tibetan: འཇིག་བྱེད་དུས་མཚན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: ), visualize oneself as the co-emergent father and mother Chakrasamvara (Tibetan: འཁོར་ལོ་སྡོམ་པ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: ), wearing complete sambhogakaya ornaments, residing in the center of the fire of wisdom, in the exact center of the body. The Dharmata nadi (Tibetan: རྩ་དབུ་མ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Central Channel) is straight and upright, like the trunk of a tree by the water, red and oily, wide and spacious. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
