English
Mo Dong (Tibetan transliteration, meaning divination arrow). Gyaltsen (Tibetan transliteration, meaning victory banner). Rudar (Tibetan transliteration, meaning flag), etc. The first is: splitting a bamboo to the length of an arrow, the symbol connected to the body is two hands, woven with five-colored silk threads into a hollow, starting from blue and gradually circling outwards into a rainbow pattern. The top is decorated with beautiful feathers belonging to birds and five-colored wool, and silk, wool, or paper hang on both hands. The mustard-shaped round bag, similar to a skull, is called 'Emptiness of Equivalence'. Its center is hollow, symbolizing the unchanging emptiness, that is, emptiness, representing the unchanging nature of Dharma. The rainbow pattern of five-colored silk threads is called 'Emptiness of Five Wisdoms', which is the substitute for the mind. The second is: similar to the above arrow bamboo, the top is decorated with wool and bird feathers, the bottom is hung with silk ribbons, and the middle is a mustard-shaped round bag, which is the substitute for the body, and is also considered a substitute for children. The third is: on a cypress tree, carve a double-edged sword shape, about a span high, with a red frog head on the top and a blue dividing line in the middle. On the surface are painted clouds and stars in the sky, below are mountains, villages and houses, and at the bottom are oceans, which is called 'drawing the world's appearance'. In the center is drawn the image of the deity, and on the back is written the mantra, that is, the mantra of the deity, which is drawn for the individual. Below the village and houses are drawn their respective dharma instruments, which is called 'drawing their respective behaviors'. This is the substitute for the village and houses. The fourth is: an arrow that matches the color of each arrow god, the length of the arrow is one arrow or one cubit. Write the seed syllable of the generation stage and combine it with your own symbol. For the deities of the heart chakra, write 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). For the Vajra Messenger Mother Deities, write 'bhyao' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: bhyao). For the Father Deities, write 'Eh' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Eh). For the Eight Classes of Gods and Demons, write 'Ama Ara Putsa Zaza Ra' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: Ama Ara Putsa Zaza Ra). For the Dharma Protectors and other remaining deities, write 'zhī' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: zhī). For Dharma Protectors, etc., when vowing in front of the teacher, holding a vajra in hand, therefore draw a vajra, which is called combining with the symbol of power. Draw the dharma instruments held by each right hand, without making mistakes. The top is decorated with four feathers and beautiful color patterns, and the bottom is decorated with fish eyes and arrowheads. This matches the color of each arrow and is the perfect offering for the body. Writing the seed syllable of the generation stage is the perfect offering for speech. Drawing the dharma instruments is the perfect offering for mind. The arrowheads on the arrow are the perfect offerings for merit and activity, and are the substitute for men. The fifth is: spinning wheels stacked from bottom to top, with colors in the order of blue, green, red, white, and yellow, which is called 'drawing the appearance of the world'. The color of the spinning wheel matches the deity, and writing the seed syllable and dharma instruments is called 'drawing the state of personal existence'. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
