The syllable Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:om,汉语字面意思:嗡) and the vajra (diamond scepter), etc., express the activity of means; the root of the tongue expresses emptiness; the syllable Ah (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) and the lotus, etc., are the aspects of wisdom. Combining these shows the union of the two. The way of this is that the Mahamudra (Great Seal) is emptiness with focus. All the realms of desire, form, and formlessness are pervaded by the nature of equal taste. The one who unites equally with this is the great bliss of compassion without focus. Therefore, the way of embracing without duality is not extensively discussed here because it is too elaborate. The second is the union of the four mudras. The union of the four mudras—Samaya Mudra (Pledge Seal), Karma Mudra (Action Seal), Dharma Mudra (Law Seal), and Jnana Mudra (Wisdom Seal)—in sequence is the path of transcendence. The way of this is that the ten signs, such as smoke, are the Samaya Mudra. Uniting equally with this is to focus single-pointedly on the clarity of emptiness itself. By the power of the innate blazing heat (tummo), the bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment) melts and reaches the tip of the vajra jewel. At that time, the bliss that arises should be examined. The Karma Mudra refers to the bliss that is produced by whatever action is done with the hands. For example, the legs are in the vajra posture, the right hand is clenched into a fist and placed at the side, etc., with the posture that pleases the mind. Contemplate the increasing heat (tummo) as if an old woman with a noose made of sinews has hooked the eyes, just like 'Svavajra Ullaya' (藏文:སྭ་བཛྲ་ཨུལླ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:स्ववज्र उल्ल अय,梵文罗马拟音:svavajra ulla aya,汉语字面意思:自金刚上升). At that time, one should remember the limbs of meditation. Letting the two winds relax in their own place, and holding the bodhicitta at the tip of the jewel, eventually, the conventional bodhicitta itself will transform into the nature of the ultimate bodhicitta. At that time, from the aspect of the completion of the bodhicitta, the innate bliss is called Bhagavan (Blessed One) and the Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body); from the aspect of non-discrimination, it is called Bhagavati (Blessed Mother) and the Dharmakaya (Truth Body). As it is said in the Hevajra Tantra: 'The form of semen is the Bhagavan; its bliss is called the Desire Mother.' The third is the Dharma Mudra, which is merely the nature of mind. That is, merely visualizing any deity as a union of father and mother, and with kissing, etc., as the preliminary, through the union of stirring and being stirred, one should symbolically represent the four joys (喜) etc., at each stage, and never let the bindu (drop) fall, but contemplate it as the nature of bliss. These two mudras... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, operations such as pulling upwards are necessary, but they will not be elaborated here as they will be discussed below. Regarding the Jñāna-mudrā (wisdom seal): Whatever is experienced is named 'mudrā,' named Prajñā (wisdom); and the awareness that experiences is Upāya (means). The two are without self-nature, experiencing them as one taste is the method of entering into samādhi. Just as water is to water, as ghee is to ghee, this self-born awareness-wisdom, complete realization is the 'mudrā' here.' Thus it is said. By becoming accustomed to this state, it is very easy to attain the state of Vajradhara. Third, for those of lesser faculties, combining with a Karma-mudrā (action seal) woman, there are two ways: relying on the seed of Amṛta (nectar) to bestow blessings, and relying on red substances to awaken experience. First is the first, which is divided into preliminary and main practices. The preliminary is: finding a Vidyā (consort) who possesses the characteristics, making her mature through a ritual of complete union, visualizing oneself and the consort as a Yab-yum (father-mother) deity, bestowing blessings until the lineage is equal. The second is the main practice, which is divided into five steps: inviting the Jñānasattva (wisdom being), abiding, binding, pleasing, and experiencing equal taste. First, inviting the Jñānasattva to the Samayasattva (commitment being): 'Even if entering the palace of a consort, one should remember the illusory body.' The consort refers to human women, etc. Entering her palace is to unite with her. 'One should remember the illusory body,' with the manifestation of Tuṃmo (inner heat) ignited by the desire of wisdom, visualizing the ultimate accomplishment of the image as the deity, firmly experiencing the nature of bliss, Norbu (Sanskrit: Ratna, meaning jewel) arises simultaneously with one's own place, the pure self-born manifestation as the deity, experiencing the manifestation of the Dharmakāya (truth body) nature that pervades the Trailokya (three realms), in a way that is non-dual with each self-aware, and remembering it.' Thus it is said. The method is: during union, focus on the smoke rising between the eyebrows of Kakkola; when entering, focus on the mirage in the heart; when moving, focus on the spark in the navel; when shaking, focus on the lamplight in the secret place. Focus on the throat, heart, navel, secret place, between the Norbu, the four moments of joy—joy, supreme joy, special joy, and co-emergent joy—when Kunda returns to its own place. If the previous wheels have not been bound, then one cannot be liberated from the Dhvaja (banner) of the Norbu. Therefore, beginners should strive to stabilize these respective stages.
