Decline (thud pa) Lifespan diminished, and due to some causes interrupting life, leading to a shortened lifespan, which is remedied by extending life, and rectifying imperfections and eliminating inauspicious things. Deities turning their backs: The deities here include both worldly and transmundane deities. The former refers to not providing help due to anger at our faults; the latter refers to the wisdom being integrated during empowerment by the guru through mantras, mudras, and samadhi, but due to one's own violation of vows, the wisdom being departs from the heart. Through this method, vows can be restored and blessings regained. Friends turning into enemies: The affection arising from attachment, and people who do not see the truth, generating hatred without our fault, all of which is due to the influence of spirits. Servants, wives, and children being abused: Servants refer to servants, wives refer to wives, and children refer to close relatives such as sons, being abused by spirits, and disharmony with each other, leading to conflicts in speech and body due to discord between oneself and others. Harm from the reduction of wealth: Exhaustion of resources, as well as sorrow, fatigue, and harm, whatever the difference in suffering, as well as fear, including the eight great fears, poverty, and harm from the planets: planets refer to the harm caused by celestial bodies such as the sun and constellations such as the Pleiades. The meaning of 'curse' (byad stems): As stated in the 'Buddha Secret Sutra': 'A curse refers to the power of any mantra of dakinis, etc., used to kill yogis.' Being disturbed by evil spirits: Being disturbed by fierce spirits, and nightmares caused by sorrow and fatigue. Being drowsy due to pain, memory confused, being deluded by spirits, or having nightmares due to the influence of spirits. Furthermore, not only these reasons, but in general, all thirty-two types of nightmares, etc., can be purified by offering the great mandala. This is just an example, the details are inconceivable. The actual empowerment and its benefits The second part is the empowerment and its benefits, divided into the actual empowerment and its benefits, and a detailed explanation of the ritual of the vase, which is the main substance of the empowerment. The first part is: Therefore, one can become pure through bathing. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, 'that' refers to the practitioner, and 'thoroughly sprinkled' refers to the practice of meditative rituals through the four initiations of outer, inner, secret, and suchness, which is from the perspective of meaning. 'Pure' refers to its result, which is the state of the Dharmadhatu being freed from sudden obscurations and entering a state of purity. For those who are interested: Please listen to the sacred Sutra. Because it reveals profound meanings in concise words, it is called a Sutra. 'Please listen' indicates the process from the examination of the teacher-student relationship to dwelling in the preparatory stage. Who are 'those with good minds, good intentions, like fields,' and 'adorned with pure garments'? Those who enter the path to benefit all beings, who are respectful and enthusiastic about the Dharma, who are kind-hearted, and who abide by the vows of a Bodhisattva, are those adorned with pure garments. This indicates that such disciples can enter the mandala. How many are there? Just as it is said in the 'General Tantra of Secrets.' Entering the mandala can only be done through blessings; other methods are ineffective, which shows its profundity. What should be done after entering? The so-called 'Buddha' means receiving the initiations spoken by the Buddhas. How do the Buddhas speak? In the 'General Tantra,' it says: 'To obtain the position of the teacher of all Tathagatas, the first initiation is proclaimed. To accomplish all mantras, the second initiation is taught. To completely destroy obstacles, the third is thoroughly proclaimed. To obtain the fourth attainment, this excellent ritual is taught.' This is what the Buddhas say. 'The field of practice' refers to the fact that those initiations should become the object of practice for the disciples. What is it? It is the very act of receiving initiation. 'This Sutra should be listened to' means that it should be received in this way. From whom should it be received? From the Vajra Master. Why must it be received from the Vajra Master? Because 'without the permission of others, secret mantras should not be taken.' What benefits are obtained by receiving it in this way? The radiance of this Sutra can pacify all beings, all unbearable diseases. Even diseases like leprosy, which are difficult to cure, can be purified, let alone other harms that can be immediately pacified. Life and merit will increase, in this very life. Liberation from all sins, able to prevent the production of unpleasant results. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
