According to Sangye Sangwa and Smriti Jñana, entering the mandala leads to enlightenment. Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra believe that under the Bodhi tree, in the great palace of Vajrasana, when Shakyamuni Buddha attained perfect enlightenment, many hosts of demons appeared to obstruct him. Thereupon, the Tathagata blessed Vajrapani and said, 'Son of noble family, transform your body into a wrathful form and subdue these demons.' Vajrapani then transformed himself into the King of Wrath and manifested the mandala of wrathful deities. In short, 'Thus I have heard, at one time, the Bhagavan resided in Vajra,' which indicates that the teaching is explained through five perfections. In the ultimate sense, the Suchness (Tathata) of all dharmas is immutable and cannot be altered, hence 'Thus' indicates 'it is like this.' All dharmas are inseparable from Suchness and are Suchness itself, hence 'I have heard.' Then, if Suchness has no inherent nature such as color and form, how can it be realized? Therefore, it is said that realization comes through the grace of the Guru. However, it is very difficult to find such a Guru, and even if one is accepted by the Guru, it is difficult to quickly realize Suchness; it requires gradual practice to realize it at some point, hence 'at one time.' The ultimate state of such realization is having the fortune to destroy perverted views, 'Bhaga' means to destroy or fortune. What is destroyed? The four Maras are destroyed. Birth is the taking of aggregates, hence the Skandha Mara; aging is the decline of good things, hence the Deva-putra Mara; sickness is the loss of comfort and the arising of afflictions, hence the Klesha Mara; death leads to rebirth, hence the Yama Mara. Where do these Maras come from? They come from actions driven by afflictions. Where do these actions come from? They come from the mind with habitual tendencies, therefore, the mind that destroys these Maras does not abide in anything because it is without discrimination. Fortune refers to the collection of six good qualities: form, fame, power, wealth, wisdom, and diligence. 'Van' means possessing. 'Bhagavan' transcends the worldly Bhagavan. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Karma is added as a method, hence the Blessed One (Bhagavan). 'Entering the Vajra' (Vajra) is called a synonym for being inseparable from the essence of abandonment and perfect wisdom. In short, what I heard is the continuum of cause (རྒྱུའི་རྒྱུད།), when heard, it is the continuum of method (ཐབས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུད།), and the Blessed One entering the Vajra shows the continuum of result (འབྲས་བུའི་རྒྱུད།). Second, explaining the conditions for the arising of the continuum through initiating discussion, divided into the cause of initiating discussion and the actual initiating discussion. First, the cause of initiating discussion: Based on the two Samadhis of blessing and accordance, from the perspective of the first, by the power of the Buddha, Vajrapani blesses all bodies as Vajras, awakens from the sleep of delusion, and the lotus of wisdom blooms, thus becoming enlightened, referring here to Shakyamuni. His power is the power of his ability, like a magnet attracting iron. Vajrapani is called the great Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, who holds non-dual wisdom, and the image is that all Buddhas bless, showing the three secrets, holding the wrathful Vajra, is the lord of the retinue, Yaksa Krodha, possessing power and strength, and is known to hold all the teachings of the Buddhas. The body is for accumulation, the parts of the body arising from the collection accumulated by Vajrapani. 'All' also includes speech and mind. 'Blessed as Vajra' means transforming into the essence of self-nature wisdom, like a jewel Vajra. From the perspective of the conforming Samadhi, 'entering the Vajra Samadhi' means abiding in non-discriminating wisdom, and with subsequent wisdom transforming the illusory body into a mandala, and obtaining the authority to explain the continuum. Like this, with non-discriminating wisdom, all dharmas are seen as being like the center of the sky, and with subsequent wisdom, they are seen as being like illusions. Then, Vajrapani said, 'the power of the Buddha' refers to the power of the Blessed One alone, generating the power to manifest the mandala.
