There are four characteristics of its characteristic dharma: knowledge, distinction, action, and self-nature. Among these, the first three are the actual characteristics, while self-nature is the object of expression that the characteristic relies on. The object of expression, which is the nature of being an object of knowledge, is the characteristic of knowledge. The dharma that is not shared with other dharmas is the characteristic of distinction. Accomplishing the meaning of distinction is the characteristic of action, thus becoming the basic nature of the characteristic. In this regard, these twenty combinations are solely the nature of the wisdom of the path, but as the object of cultivation, the omniscient nature takes the three aspects as its object, thus the twenty combinations of the omniscient nature transform into three aspects. These are also three types of reversal distinctions, but there is no certainty of different self-natures. Among them, the characteristic of the combination of omniscient nature, which is transformed into the nature of knowable, is the sixteen characteristics of knowledge. Thus, through the power of the yogi's practice, the wisdom born in the post-meditation state, as the knowable dharma of self-nature, is the characteristic of knowledge that is encompassed by all-knowing, which is the lower quality. The sixteen of the path of knowledge and the sixteen of perfect knowledge should also be applied in the same way. Second, these sixteen moments of distinction are the characteristics of transformation into distinction because they surpass other paths. The great translator said, 'This is also the virtuous dharma produced by it, and in the collection of post-meditation, it is simply called the characteristic of the path of seeing.' Thus, if the path of seeing is superior, then its combination, the combination of lineage, the characteristics of post-meditation and equipoise, and the result also achieve distinction. Therefore, in all stages of complete manifestation, because everything achieves distinction, it is said that the path of seeing itself is the characteristic of distinction. Third, the characteristic of action. The great translator said, 'This is also because the practitioner is in accordance with the combination, therefore it is the stage of a Bodhisattva, or from the Buddha's teaching of the Dharma, therefore it is the accomplishment of benefiting others, therefore through its means, it shows the ability to accomplish it, which is the nature of the combination as a characteristic.' Among them, first, eight are common actions. The last three are uncommon. There are also two common ones: accomplishing the Sugata and accomplishing realization.' The first has five, and the latter has three. The former is the stage of a Bodhisattva. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The function of the earth is said to be the function of the Buddha in the future. The three uncommon functions of that wisdom are also said in the sutras to arise from the Buddha. Fourth, the nature is: that upon which they rely to abide in the state of characteristics, that is, the dharma that represents reliance. These are also the nature of attaining qualities, of which there are seven. The first four are the qualities of being free from discord, and the latter three are the nature of attaining qualities with antidotes. Therefore, it is necessary to show the cause of manifestation, which is encompassed by the obscuration of afflictions, and the three fruits produced thereby, as well as the three natures of the cause of habitual tendencies left by previous afflictions, and the separation from discordant and antidotal conceptualizations encompassed by the obscuration of knowledge, which are the four separations. The nature of joy, certainty, and dedication is: the armor of all sentient beings to escape suffering, being unrelated to all dharmas, and non-abiding nirvana itself, and attaining omniscience for the benefit of all sentient beings. The remaining nine are the nature of enabling the object to be realized. That is, the three uncommon natures of the supreme application of the three omniscient bodies, and the common ones are six. There are two times for attaining perfect complete realization: The time of entering the application, and the time when all applications are completely perfected without exception. The former is the nature of virtue in accordance with the part of liberation, which is the lesser accumulation path. That is, by entering this application, one enters the teaching oneself, or can also enable others to enter the teaching. Because one has obtained the special power to establish oneself in the application one has attained. The time of perfecting the application is in accordance with the part of ascertainment, because it is the stage of fully maturing the power to generate antidotes and eliminate afflictions. Regarding the manifestation of the power of application attained through meditation, there are two types: the difference in the basis of the meditator, and the difference in the power it possesses. The former also has three, which are the three irreversible sanghas. The latter also has three, that is, the ability to attain the Dharmakaya is: to equally realize samsara and nirvana. The ability to attain the perfect enjoyment body is: to purify the Buddha-fields. The ability to attain the Nirmanakaya is: because it possesses skillful means to ripen sentient beings. Seventh, the essence of the peak application has eight aspects, and the twelve signs of the warmth of the peak. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
