It is exhausted! Otherwise, one would contemplate that there is nothing here except the aggregates, elements, and sense bases. And again, contemplating that these are all just one's own mind, and there is nothing else here. Therefore, compassion arises for those who suffer. Having arisen, one engages in generosity and other virtuous deeds. The order of no object is that, realizing the ultimate truth and the conventional truth as being of one taste, one fully ripens sentient beings into whichever of the three vehicles is appropriate through various skillful means. As it says in the commentary on the *Inexhaustible Intelligence Sutra*: As previously explained, even though one maintains equanimity in all activities, in order to ripen sentient beings, one follows after all the worlds, such as the royal families, and skillfully acts in accordance with them, and being seized by wisdom, even though one dwells among them, one is not mixed with the world. How is one not mixed? That is, one has transcended the eight worldly dharmas and is not mixed with all the afflictions. Thus it is said in the sutra. The meaning of the text: Secondly, the meaning of the text is: acting for the sake of generosity, for the benefit of all sentient beings. Abandoning the opposing side is: having no miserliness. Training in the concordant side is: practicing generosity. In order that the objects of generosity may not be exhausted, or for the sake of the result: since things are devoid of inherent existence, may my enjoyment be spontaneously accomplished. Obtaining what is called the treasury of space, it is not like a treasury piled up with many treasures, but whatever is desired, may it immediately arise in abundance. This is in terms of a beginner. Since all things are of the nature of destruction, may the pāramitā of generosity be perfected. Abiding in the pacification of the object of generosity, the giver, the field of generosity, and all objects of generosity, Giving like an illusory person, this is transcendent of the world. Thus, having gone to the other shore by means of ability, one obtains the name pāramitā of generosity. This is generosity by abandoning the poverty of dhyana. Because of completely giving away its characteristics, extensively speaking, that itself is also divided into six pāramitās. The discipline of the law, the law, that is, what is established by the Buddhas, the Prātimokṣa is the discipline of guarding against misdeeds, the discipline of gathering virtuous dharmas, the discipline of benefiting sentient beings, the completion of these three is the discipline of the Bodhicitta. This is Śīla (Tibetan: ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: śīla, Sanskrit Romanization: shila, Chinese literal meaning: precept), in order to obtain coolness from the suffering of afflictions, therefore it is called discipline. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is called 'Discipline'. Abandoning discordant factors, being without fault, and without the fault of violating discipline. Concordant factors, possessing pure discipline. This discipline has six branches: abiding in the Pratimoksha discipline, being restrained by the vows that have been made, possessing perfect rituals, possessing perfect conduct, fearing even the slightest fault, and properly taking and studying the bases of learning. Thus, the discipline with six branches is called the collection of discipline or the heap of discipline. 7-374 May the perfection of the discipline of non-arrogance, the Paramita of discipline, be fulfilled. Starting from properly taking the discipline at the beginning, up to reaching the wisdom of complete liberation at the end, without any damage or loss even to a particle. Thus, without damage or loss, the discipline reaches its culmination, and when it becomes the nature of undefiled discipline, the heap of discipline is completely perfected. Therefore, non-arrogance and non-conceptualization of the three spheres are the same in essence, so that discipline obtains the name of Paramita. Earth or water or fire, like the element of wind, does not abide. Patience, anger does not abide in the four great elements, because there is no mind. This is also the same as not conceptualizing the three spheres. Kshanti (藏文:བཟོད་པ།,梵文天城体:क्षान्ति,梵文罗马拟音:kṣānti,汉语字面意思:忍耐) is the pacification of anger, and from that aspect, it is called patience. Abandoning discordant factors, without anger. Studying according to concordant factors, may the perfection of the Paramita of patience be fulfilled. As it is said in the Sutra of the Bodhisattva Pitaka of the Jewel Heap: 'Anger, so-called anger, destroys the roots of virtue accumulated over hundreds of thousands of kalpas.' And in the Sutra of Manjushri's Play: 7-375 'Anger, so-called anger, destroys the roots of virtue accumulated over hundreds of kalpas.' It should be understood that this is the difference between fundamental afflictions, near afflictions, and objects. Diligence, with the diligence of exertion, steadfast joy, diligence with the application of Virya (藏文:བརྩོན་འགྲུས།,梵文天城体:वीर्य,梵文罗马拟音:vīrya,汉语字面意思:精进), and the effort of exertion, steadfastness means constant application, joy means respectful application. Abandoning discordant factors, without laziness, studying according to concordant factors, with a powerful body and mind, may the perfection of the Paramita of diligence be fulfilled. Having put on great armor, because there is no arrogance, it cannot be overcome by discordant factors, so it has power. No matter how much effort --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
