The three places of the holy body (Tibetan: ཀྱི་ཐུགས་ལྗགས་སྤྱན་གསུམ་, literally: body, speech, and mind) were undamaged, the relics (Sanskrit Devanagari: रिं ग ब्से रེལ, Sanskrit Romanization: riṃg bsre rel, Chinese literal meaning: holy bones) were of five colors, the bones, the monastic robes, and the relics of the growth of the Tathagata (Sanskrit Devanagari: तथागत, Sanskrit Romanization: tathāgata, Chinese literal meaning: Thus Come One), the blessings of white earth, the three images, and the Dharani (Sanskrit Devanagari: धरणी, Sanskrit Romanization: dharaṇī, Chinese literal meaning: holding) spoken from the precious Tantras were placed without omission in the Yaksha (Sanskrit Devanagari: यक्ष, Sanskrit Romanization: yakṣa, Chinese literal meaning: Yaksha) wheel. The throne and offerings were ready, and a grand consecration ceremony was performed. During the grand statue offering, the monks of the Tantric monastery and Gyatso monastery performed Dharma practice offerings for several days. Donations were offered to most of the monasteries in the southern region, and no tax of one load per household was levied on the residents below Pamodosang. When deciding where to build the large Buddha statue, personnel from Lhuntse arrived. Since Lhuntse is the center of Ü-Tsang and it is convenient to obtain the necessary materials from this direction, it was decided to build the statue at Ralung Monastery (Gdan sa ra lung). The task of building the Buddha statue was the responsibility of Depa Chagzopa. He went to Ralung with the old officials of the government. The groundwork for the Garzhung government was personally taken care of by Rinpoche. Choje Lhala Nga and other travelers from Kham were entertained. The copper sent by Chagzo had also arrived. Sakya Governor Dondup Dorje from Lhuntse sent sixty loads of copper statue material. Dakchen Rinpoche of Sakya sent twelve sho of gold powder from before the throne. The blessings of the former masters were particularly special. The abbot of Shiri Sangling Monastery and other monks from the upper region donated a large amount of copper. Togden Dromo Lodro Namgyal donated a large amount of gold and other wealth. He was the offering place for the Lovo king and ministers in the upper region. He subdued zombies with the behavior of an ascetic, and was a famous Togden. The great and small patrons of Nyangto, all the great monks, also donated gold, copper, turquoise, etc. From Ponse Kunshe of Trigu, sixty sho of gold were donated. From the sisters of Tsogo, twelve sho of gold were donated, etc. Drongon monasteries undertook the transportation of coal. On the fifteenth day of the fourth month of the Gyalwa (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་བ་, literally: Victorious One) Wood Horse year, a workshop was established. The statue was made of four hundred loads of copper and eight hundred and a half taels of gold. The posture of the statue is the sitting posture of Maitreya (Sanskrit Devanagari: मैत्रेय, Sanskrit Romanization: Maitreya, Chinese literal meaning: Loving One) Buddha, with the characteristics of the Sambhogakaya (Sanskrit Devanagari: सम्भोगकाय, Sanskrit Romanization: saṃbhogakāya, Chinese literal meaning: Enjoyment Body). The height of the statue is forty cubits. The Nepalese artisan foreman Mochepa Lungku Shin and six others including Zagar Pale... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
