The builders worked diligently and with great experience, completing the work in thirteen months. All the gilding and gold plating was done by the chamberlain Tsangpa. The reliquary was inlaid with pure turquoise and exquisite jewels of various kinds. The throne had three faces, and the carvings of six animals from elephant to garuda were elaborate and magnificent. The halo and parasol were made by the learned incarnate lama Lodro Nyima. Inside was enshrined the complete skull of the omniscient master, all the Gyalwa Rinpoches (རྒྱལ་བའི་དབང་པོ་,rgyal ba'i dbang po,Victorious Lord,Victory King), adorned with relics. On the beams of the reliquary was clearly carved the image of Kalachakra (འཁོར་ལོ་སྡོམ་པ་,'khor lo sdom pa,Kalachakra,Wheel of Time) with four faces and twelve arms. There were also headdresses, robes, the relics of the Tathagata (དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་,de bzhin gshegs pa,Tathagata,Thus Gone), the relics of the Kadampa (བཀའ་གདམས་,bka' gdams,Kadampa,Bound by Command) lineage masters, body images, robes, and the blessings of the Kadampa, Sakya (ས་དཀར་,sa dkar,Sakya,Pale Earth) and Nyingma (རྙིང་མ་,rnying ma,Nyingma,Ancient) schools. In addition, there were four mule-loads of scriptures, tantras such as Kalachakra (དུས་འཁོར་,dus 'khor,Kalachakra,Wheel of Time), Chakrasamvara (བདེ་མཆོག་,bde mchog,Chakrasamvara,Supreme Bliss), Mahamaya (མཱ་ཡ་,mā ya,Mahamaya,Great Illusion), twenty-three volumes of the gold-written Astasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra (བརྒྱད་སྟོང་པ་,brgyad stong pa,Astasahasrika Prajnaparamita Sutra,Eight Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom Sutra), and three hundred volumes of scriptures of various colors. There were more than a hundred gilded statues of the Tathagata (དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་,de bzhin gshegs pa,Tathagata,Thus Gone) and Maitreya (བྱམས་པ་,byams pa,Maitreya,Loving One), Manjushri (འཇམ་དབྱངས་,'jam dbyangs,Manjushri,Gentle Glory), and many statues of Kagyu (དཀར་རྒྱུད་,dkar rgyud,Kagyu,White Lineage) lineage masters. There were also two hundred volumes of tantric commentaries and Kagyu (དཀར་རྒྱུད་,dkar rgyud,Kagyu,White Lineage) teachings. Countless relics, a wheel of Yaksha (གནོད་སྦྱིན་,gnod sbyin,Yaksa,Mischief Maker), and caskets filled with grain, jewels, and silks were offered. The attendants of Zhabdrung Rinpoche (ཞབས་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་,zhabs drung rin po che,Zhabdrung Rinpoche,Zhabdrung Rinpoche), the great Vajradhara (རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་པ་,rdo rje 'dzin pa,Vajradhara,Diamond Holder), Chokgra Rinpoche (ཅོག་གྲྭ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་,cog grwa rin po che,Chokgra Rinpoche,Chokgra Rinpoche), and Ngagpa Lopon Lhawang Lodro (སྔགས་གྲྭ་སློབ་དཔོན་པ་ལྷ་དབང་བློ་གྲོས་,sngags grwa slob dpon pa lha dbang blo gros,Ngagpa Lopon Lhawang Lodro,Mantra Teacher Lhawang Lodro) were in charge of this. They knew that by completing this work, they could please all the Buddhas with vast clouds of offerings, thereby increasing the two accumulations of merit and wisdom. Therefore, they provided everything needed by all the artisans and builders of the time from the peak of Lhuntse (ལྷུན་རྩེ་,lhun rtse,Lhuntse,Peak). In addition, all the monks from Tsang (གཙང་,gtsang,Tsang,Clean), Nyang (ཉང་,nyang,Nyang,Nyang), Lho (ལྷོ་,lho,Lho,South), Drog (འབྲོག་,'brog,Drog,Nomad), and U (དབུས་,dbus,U,Center) effortlessly obtained everything they needed, including grain, meat, butter, and tea. The great translator incarnation (ལོ་ཆེན་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུས,lo chen sprul pa'i skus,Lotsen Tulku,Translator Incarnation) offered four batches of tea, and Gongkar (གོང་དཀར་,gong dkar,Gongkar,Upper White), Kyishong (སྐྱིད་ཤོང་,skyid shong,Kyishong,Happy Valley), Phyonggyas (འཕྱོང་རྒྱས,'phyong rgyas,Phyonggyas,Extensive Valley), and Lhodrak (ལྷོ་འབྲེག་,lho 'breg,Lhodrak,Southern Border) also provided generous offerings. The patrons, the officials of Mamo Drongtse (མ་མོ་འབྲོང་རྩེ་,ma mo 'brong rtse,Mamo Drongtse,Mamo Drongtse), also provided much assistance. Buton Jetsun Kunga Paldron (བུར་སྟོན་རྗེ་བཙུན་ཀུན་དགའ་དཔལ་སྒྲོན་,bur ston rje btsun kun dga' dpal sgron,Buton Jetsun Kunga Paldron,Buton Jetsun Kunga Paldron) also provided funding. Jetsun Kunshonpa (རྗེ་བཙུན་སྐུ་གཞོན་པ་,rje btsun sku gzhon pa,Jetsun Kunshonpa,Venerable Young Body) from Tsechen (རྩེ་ཆེན་,rtse chen,Tsechen,Peak Great) lit butter lamps all around. Gaden Sar Rinpoche (གདན་ས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་,gdan sa rin po che,Gaden Sar Rinpoche,Gaden Sar Rinpoche) and all the main patrons offered khatas, etc., the details of which are recorded in the offering register. All preparations began on the third day of the sixth month of the Wood Sheep Year (མྱོས་བྱེད་དེ་ཤིང་མོ་ལུག་ལོ་,myos byed de shing mo lug lo,Wood Sheep Year,Wood Sheep Year). Drukpa Rinpoche (འབྲུག་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་,'brug pa rin po che,Drukpa Rinpoche,Dragon Precious One) Mipham Chokyi Gyalpo (མི་ཕམ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་,mi pham chos kyi rgyal po,Mipham Chokyi Gyalpo,Unconquerable Dharma King) together with five hundred monks practiced the glorious Shri Chakrasamvara Mandala (དཔལ་འཁོར་ལོ་སྡོམ་པའི་དཀྱི,dpal 'khor lo sdom pa'i dkyil,Shri Chakrasamvara Mandala,Glorious Wheel of Bliss Mandala). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
