Because I have widely heard the profound tantras of the Nyingma school, I hope they will flourish. I want to practice Yamantaka ('Jam dpal gShin rje), so I searched everywhere in U-Tsang. I found the son of the Dharma protector, the Vidyadhara Tashi (bLa ma'i drung Tshe bdag bKra shis) in front of the Lama, to be very proficient, so I received the complete initiation at the Iron Tiger Monastery (lCags sdig chos sde). In order to build a perfect Buddha statue with a height of forty cubits (about 18 meters), we spent a year preparing. I thought it was not appropriate to make this statue with thin copper sheets. We purchased two iron ingots per load (khal, a unit of weight) from Tsetang (Tses thang), each ingot weighing about two 'gomas' (go ma, a unit of measurement). The casting quality was very good. A total of four hundred loads of copper were used. That year, I summoned the craftsmen from the upper region as usual and did the painting. After the statue was completed, we performed a twelve-day day and night consecration ceremony, including 'Day Nail Binding' (nyin gzer sdoms) and 'Night Ash Dharani' (mtshan thal gzung 'bul ba). In this statue, we enshrined: the entire Kangyur (bKa' 'gyur ro 'tshal, the words of the Buddha), three hundred scriptures including the Twenty-five Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, ten million Buddha statue tsatsas (tsha tsha, a type of molded small Buddha statue), five thousand blessed earth tsatsas, and three copies of the Shri Chakrasamvara (dPal 'khor bde chen) mantra, as well as other Buddha relics. The blessings obtained from the translators Marpa and Dag, and the holy figures of the Kadampa school (bKa' gdams pa) are reliable. There are also countless blessings obtained from Ralung Monastery (Ra lung) and Neudongtse (sNe'u gdong rtse), Letod Chang (Las stod byang), and other places. Kunga Drolchok (Kun dga' grol mchog) said that this statue has auspicious connections, the clay statue of Jowo Buddha (Jo bo) made by Gungtang Lotsawa (Gung thang lo tsa ba), and the hand bell of the previous master (rJe gong ma) were placed in the statue. The offering water melted into transparent quartz, the teeth, robes, and hair of Je Tsongkhapa (rJe bla ma) are unimaginable in number. Especially on the topknot of the statue, there is a statue of Tilopa (Ti li pa) made by Jowo Naropa (Jo bo NA ro pa) himself, made of black stone (dz+hiH k+Sim), and a small statue of Je Tsongkhapa, just the right size to be placed on the throne. Twenty-five 'shos' (zho, a unit of weight) of cold gold were used to gild the face of the statue. After the enshrinement was completed, we began to prepare for the initiation ceremony. According to the mandala ritual, we performed the Chakrasamvara ( 'khor lo sdom pa) practice for a few days and performed the consecration ceremony. We held a grand celebration. We gave the Nepalese craftsmen six hundred 'shos' of gold, and unimaginable rewards to other craftsmen. I worked hard to invite the good eyes of Magadha, and invited the sovereign of perfect merits. This wonderful sight, in the degenerate age, is possessed by the village of Buram Singh Phel. The dust of sin has made it barren, while the vast sight of Dharma is the eye of goodness, which manifests at will for the benefit of beings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I contemplate, thinking that all worthy of praise is gathered in my heart. From prosperity to decline, the young monastic fled. At that time, starting from Chos-rje, through many generations, both the Khenpo (abbot) and Acharya (teacher) had practical teachings on discipline, etc., as well as instructions on the study and practice of tantra. However, when Chos-rje Lo-gros Seng-ge was young, due to the fault of the official Kun-seng-ba, the monastery suffered a great disaster. After that, for two generations, the monastery gradually declined, to the point where the monks went to the Black Forest (mi nag gling) in the interior. The Dharma King thought that the good tradition was about to disappear. After Gyalwang Rje, the Khenpo of Nyetang Tashi Gangpa, named Chos-rje Samtenpa, was said to be knowledgeable in Sutra, Tantra, grammar, etc., and was very familiar with the Dharma King's own teachings. The Dharma King planned to appoint him as Acharya. He laid the foundation of the monastery in Namdar, and was busy spreading the Dharma in Tsari, Gampo, etc., but ultimately failed to complete it. After returning, he immediately exchanged the land. In Namshor, it seemed to have become dilapidated. After that, the previous Dharma King first established a tantric college in Lhatser, with Shakya Wangchuk, the Shabpa of Kalachakra, as the Acharya. Later in the monastery. Dharma King Thutop granted the qualities of Yishe Kopa. It was moved to Tashi Thongmon. His disciple, Yongtse Angran Jangpa, known as the King of Scholars, went on a pilgrimage to Tsari. He heard the teachings of Gyalwang Kabum, etc., from the previous Dharma King, and the teacher and disciple were of one mind. The Acharya planned to establish a school of logic in Palri, and seemed to have surveyed the land, but due to his short life, he failed to complete it. I contemplate, thinking that I have come to inherit their work. Gyang Palding Rabjampa was knowledgeable in the Tripitaka and was convincing. I thought he was an awakened person in the Kagyu lineage and appointed him as Acharya. About eighty monks were gathered, and in the name of the monks, this school of logic called the White Lotus College was established. Some appropriate funding was provided, and the local government provided three hundred loads of grain annually. In addition, as the patron of the Geshe, I myself worked hard to study the Sutra and Tantra. Although the monks of the Drukpa Kagyu thought that I had only changed sects, they did not value my college. All the profound teachings on integration, etc., were not understood and were put aside. Although there is the name of the 'Six Dharmas', the teaching and practice of incomplete oral instructions is prevalent. Therefore, what is already possessed is disappearing, and what is not... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
