Gyaltsen Palzangpo (རྒྱལ་མཚན་དཔལ་བཟང་པོ, personal name) received the transmissions of the extensive, intermediate, and concise versions of the Prajnaparamita Sutra (ཤེར་ཕྱིན་གྱི་མདོ), as well as the complete instructions on the practice of the Three Vajras (རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ). He also received some Vajra Garland Initiations (རྡོ་རྗེ་འཕྲེང་བའི་དབང་) etc. from Je Padma Karpo (རྗེ་པདྨ་དཀར་པོ, personal name). In addition, he received Dharma teachings related to Chakna Dorje (ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ, Vajrapani) etc. from the master known as Chöje Lhepawa (ཆོས་རྗེ་ལྕེས་པ) or Yulgyalwa (གཡུལ་རྒྱལ་བ). He also received many oral instructions from Chöje Ngawang Lhundrubpa (ཆོས་རྗེ་ངག་དབང་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་པ) and Chöje Sangye Zangpo (ཆོས་རྗེ་སངས་རྒྱས་བཟང་པོ) etc. Later, he also received the Four Dharmas of Tipu etc., and many oral instructions such as the Thousand Seats of Tropa Sangye Pal In addition, he received many oral instructions of the Drukpa Kagyu (འབྲུག་ལུགས) tradition from Dzezna Chöje Ngawang Zangpo (རྫས་སྣ་ཆོས་རྗེ་ངག་དབང་བཟང་པོ), such as the twenty-four well-known tantras of the Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara (ཕྱག་བཞི་པ), and some manuscripts. He also received the extensive and concise instructions on the Six Yogas (སྦྱོར་དྲུག) bestowed by Pandit Naggi Rinchen (པཎྜྻི་ཏ་ནགས་ཀྱི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ) from Je Khrushang Lotsawa (རྗེ་ཁྲུས་ཁང་ལོ་ཙ་བ). He also received the Padma Tshe-khrid (པདྨ་ཚེ་ཁྲིད) with the tongue touching the palate, and the Tshe-khrid of Birwapa (བིརྭ་པ) etc. In addition, he received some oral instructions transmitted from Je Gongma (རྗེ་གོང་མ) from Lingtöpa Drakpa Shenyen (གླིང་སྟོད་པ་གྲགས་པ་བཤེས་གཉེན). He also received some teachings such as the blue ritual of Namjom (རྣམ་འཇོམས, Vajravidāraṇa) from his uncle Chödrag Tenpa Rabphel (ཆོས་གྲགས་བསྟན་པ་རབ་འཕེལ). Therefore, he completely mastered the profound and extensive teachings of the Palden Drukpa (དཔལ་ལྡན་འབྲུག་པ) lineage, his practice was pure and he had great certainty, becoming an example and a reliable source for all. In addition, he had a Dharma connection with the great Shamarpa (ཞྭ་དམར་བ) Rinpoche Chökyi Drakpa (ཆོས་ཀྱི་གྲགས་པ). When Sakya Dagchen (ས་སྐྱ་བདག་ཆེན) was residing in Lindra (ལིནྡྲ), due to his close relationship with the master, he went to listen to the Dharma and received some subsequent permissions. When Gyalwang Karmapa Mikyö Dorje (རྒྱལ་དབང་ཀརྨ་མི་བསྐྱོད་རྡོ་རྗེ) was residing in Kongpo Sapu (ཀོང་པོ་ས་ཕུ), he went to Kongpo. At that time, as an attendant of the master, he went with about six hundred monks to meet the Karmapa and participated in the meditation and recitation of the Great Compassionate One When he went to Taglung (སྟག་ལུང), he received Dharma teachings from the uncle and nephew Athangpa (ཨ་ཐང་པ) the great master Chöje Namgyal Drakpa (ཆོས་རྗེ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གྲགས་པ), and he had great faith in Drikung Rinpoche Rinchen Phuntsok (འབྲི་ཁུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རིན་ཆེན་ཕུན་ཚོགས), the holder of the New and Old Kadam (བཀའ་གསར་རྙིང) traditions, and established a Dharma connection with him. Later, he received longevity rituals etc. from the head of all masters proficient in two languages, known as Shalu Lochen Dharma Pala When he went to Kongpo, he was told at Druk Chöding (འབྲུག་ཆོས་སྡིངས): 'Palden Lhamo (ལྷ་མོ་རེ་མ་ཏིས) prophesied that the reincarnation of Jamyang Chökyi Drakpa (འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་གྲགས་པ) would be born in upper Dokham (མདོ་ཁམས).’ Previously, they had searched for Gangkar Mowa (གངས་དཀར་མོ་བ), but had not found him. 'Now you go and search again!' So he sent Dzongdar (རྫོང་དར) from Kongpo Merak Do (ཀོང་པོ་མེ་རག་མདོ). The master and disciples returned. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At that time, in a dream, a virtuous woman guided, 'The reincarnation is here. Go down from Ne, there is a place called Shandra. Between the two villages next to each other, there is a small boy with messy hair.' Later, she also said, 'How will he manage the monastery?' After that, he went to Srampa in upper Kham through Spowo. There, he received the Gyaton Kabum (Collected Works of Gyaton) and other teachings from Gyaton Choje Namkha Gyaltsen, and he received the complete Lama Thugsdrub (Guru's Heart Practice) of Ratna Lingpa and Chod (Severance Practice) from Zurmang Kushe Lodro Gyatso. He met the one who was considered to be the reincarnation of Taklung Ngawang Drakpa at Riwo Che and received grand honors. After that, they told him to go back, saying, 'The reincarnation might be over there.' They didn't call him back and let him leave. Later, in order for the venerable Pema Karpo to receive the full ordination of a Bhikshu, in the place called 'Auspicious Perfect Bliss' (Pal Khor Dechen), a gathering place of wise men, an ocean of enjoyment, the source of happiness of Nyanglungpa, in front of Khenpo Tashi Namgyal of the monastery of Dharma King Gyal Khar Tsewa; in front of Khenpo Konchok Tsenmi of Tshog Cho Lungpa, who is known as Trongyon, an example of upholding discipline; and in the center of more than ten faithful monks including Khenpo Sangye Yeshe of Sangton Tsechen, he received the full ordination of a Bhikshu, and he cherished the five fundamental precepts of the Vinaya as if they were his eyes. Moreover, because he was a yogi, he never openly talked about his faults. Even when he was a lay practitioner, his conduct was more disciplined than other Bhikshus. Later, after he became a Vajra Master, he invited Choje Yeshe Gyaltsen, the nephew of Dharma King Tenpa Gyatso, to Tsari Tra. He received the empowerments of the old and new tantras. He also offered many teachings to him. Later, in Kyisho, when the official of Staklungma invited him, he served as the Dharma Lord of Tsal Yang Gonpa. He received the transmissions and oral instructions of the Kagyu lineage of Lama Zhang, and some Dharma protectors of the Tsalpa Kagyu lineage that he had not heard before. He gave some Drukpa Kagyu teachings back to him. In addition, he relied on many famous and virtuous lamas, learning as if drinking the ocean, becoming a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills the wishes of all Dharma seekers, an inexhaustible source. He not only listened but also thoroughly learned the practical application of all the teachings. Even at the age of nearly eighty, he clearly remembers every detail of any Dharma he has practiced, including the visualization, practice, and even the smallest details of the explanation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
