Therefore, the key instruction is: Sit in a squatting position like a sage, with knees tightly embraced, following the practice of Guru Yoga. Visualize yourself as the naked red Vajravarahi, holding a curved knife and a skull cup, as well as a khatvanga, adorned with bone ornaments, with three eyes wide open, a smiling face, and seated with one leg bent and the other extended. Within the blazing flames of wisdom, contemplate the intense bliss and warmth, from the secret place up to the crown of the head. The central channel is straight like an arrow shaft. At the lower gate where the channel is not crooked, visualize A Yam (ཨཱཿཡཾཿ,āḥ yaṃ,Ah, Yam) inseparable, as the essence of the five wisdoms, five balls of light, the size of peas. At the navel, visualize Hrih Mam (ཧྲཱིཿམཾཿ,hrīḥ maṃ,Hrih, Mam) inseparable, as a ball of fire, the size of a pea. From the upper end at the crown of the head to the lower end at the navel, visualize Ham Bam (ཧཾ་བཾ་,haṃ baṃ,Hang, Bam) inseparable, as a ball of bodhicitta, the size of a pea. Draw up the lower wind, press down the upper wind, entrust awareness to the fire in the lower body at the navel, exhale slowly, and relax naturally for a moment. When inhaling, visualize from the right nostril to the central channel as white like silk, and from the left nostril as red like silk. All of the outer world and inner beings transform into one, becoming a single expanse of blue sky, and then draw it back in. It touches the ball of wind at the lower gate, and that clarity transforms into non-conceptual wisdom. Therefore, the essence of our five winds rises like smoke, touches the fire at the navel, and the wisdom of bliss and warmth blazes forth. Its heat is like the yellow rays of a horse's tail. As the focus becomes more stable, it burns more thickly, touching the Ham Bam bodhicitta ball at the crown of the head. Emptiness gives rise to self-illuminating, pure wisdom. Its intensity causes the essence to transform into drops of nectar, appearing white with a reddish tinge, dripping down from above, nourishing the fire, increasing bliss and warmth, spreading throughout the central channel, blazing more intensely. The crown of the head, throat, heart, and secret place are filled with the unbearable fire of bliss, warmth, and wisdom. Finally, from all the pores, the subtle rays of the internal bliss and warmth of the fire blaze, the body inside and out blazes with warmth, the wind brings coolness, the fire brings warmth, and the whole body is filled with great bliss. Without distraction, diligently meditate on this. Sit with legs firmly crossed, eyelids slightly closed. When the lower wind is drawn up, the upper wind effortlessly enters the body, which is what is desired. Meditating in this way, initially, the whole body is filled with great bliss, and without distraction, diligently strive.

Meditating diligently, warmth gradually arises, then it spreads and expands. After seven days, the first sign of heat appears: the body feels light, the mouth (375) feels dry, and the mind feels comfortable. After that, clothing is gradually reduced, spreading like an expansion. After twenty-one days, the most diligent can manage with just one garment. Those of medium diligence can do so after a month. The least diligent can do so after two months. During this time, rely on nutritious food; meat and alcohol are indispensable. In reality, one will feel joy, blessings descending, warmth, comfort, radiance, clear samadhi. In dreams, one will dream of gatherings of women, dakinis will prophesy, lamas will teach the Dharma, and many wonderful things will occur. The preliminary instructions on training the channels have been taught. Secondly, relying on the instructions of the winds, although many methods of training the color, shape, number, etc., of the winds have been taught, one should meditate according to one's own experienced key points. Visualize the guru yoga and consort as before, the central channel is bluish-green, the right channel (Rasanā) is white, and the left channel (Lalanā) is red. The (376) bottom of the central channel is round. Where the two nostrils of Rasanā and Lalanā converge, there is a skull, white on the outside and red on the inside, filled with the winds of the five wisdoms. In the center of the skull, there is a blue vajra, about the size of a thumb, from which the five winds of the colors of the five wisdoms radiate like rainbows, filling the inside of the central channel; focus your awareness there. Exhale the wind slowly, hold your breath for a short time, and then, as before, visualize all internal and external phenomena as emptiness, entering the Rasanā and Lalanā channels from the two nostrils, dissolving into the skull, giving rise to the wisdom of clarity and emptiness. Five rays of light radiate from the vajra, first filling the central channel, and after a while, filling the navel chakra, heart chakra, crown chakra, and the inside of the body. Emanating from the pores, filling the external valleys, places, lands, and the entire world, visualize it filled with the winds of the five wisdoms, like rainbows. Let the wind remain in its natural state for a while, and then exhale and hold your breath as before. Because you truly hold your breath outward, you naturally grasp it inward, giving rise to clear, blissful, non-conceptual samadhi, which is called the union of non-male and non-female winds; this is the key point. After the session, dissolve all the pure external space into the internal, dissolve all the internal winds into the vajra, and the vajra also becomes thinner and thinner, and finally contemplate remaining for a moment in a state of non-attachment.
