Regarding how to explain where the wisdom of knowledge comes from: It originates from the channels. To understand the characteristics of the channels, one must understand the characteristics of the body. If one does not understand the characteristics of how the body is formed, one will not understand the state in which it resides. If one does not understand that state, one will ultimately not understand the characteristics of the body's destruction. If one does not understand these, one will not understand the state of the channels. Regarding the characteristics of the body's formation, it is that after the previous life has passed (352), the mind-made body of the intermediate state, whose consciousness dwells fleetingly. Due to the force of previous karma, at the place where male and female engage in intercourse, it gathers like many small worms gathering on fresh flesh, and some lives also end because of this. Therefore, due to the influence of good and bad karma, it is seen as a place of refuge, entering through the path of excretion, enveloped by the membrane of the mother's womb. Wind and mind mix with semen and blood. Thus, due to cause and condition, semen and blood become the conditions for the actions of the four elements of the conventional truth. Due to one's own mind, it becomes the agent of the four elements of the ultimate truth. In the first week, the action of the water element gathers these four together, forming a base as small as a mustard seed split into a hundred parts. In the second week, the action of the earth element causes them to remain together and become stable, becoming about one-tenth the size of a mustard seed. In the third week, the action of the fire element causes it to pulsate like mercury, without mixing with other substances, becoming about one-third the size of a mustard seed. In the fourth week, the action of the wind element (353) causes those tiny bindus to scatter into hundreds and thousands, and then gather again like mercury, becoming about half the size of a mustard seed. Then, in the fifth week, the essence of water and earth gather together, causing it to combine and become stable, maturing to the size of a mustard seed. Then, in the sixth week, fire and wind cause it to mature and make each of them appear clearly, becoming twice the size of a mustard seed. In the seventh week, within the bindu that is about twice the size of a mustard seed, two very small eyes are formed. At this time, the actions of the four elements become confused: the moisture of water breaks it, the weight of earth presses it down, the heat of fire burns it, and the wind causes light to arise. It matures into the body in the heart, matures into bindus in the channels, and matures into a water lamp in the eyes.

I cause the lamp of self-arisen wisdom and the lamp of the utterly pure realm of reality to ripen. The fruit is the indivisibility of the realm of reality and wisdom. The bindu of self-nature abides at the time of equipoise (354). The bindu of the nature of reality abides at the time of decline from that. When that is stable, it is the bindu of the utterly pure nature of reality. At the time of appearance, it is the bindu of the realm of reality. At the time of increase from that, it is the bindu of the utterly pure realm of reality. At the time of its completion, it is the bindu of Kuntuzangpo. At the time of outward appearance, it is the bindu of great wisdom. This shows from where the path arises. Sixth, it shows from which door it appears. The door appears in the eye. That is connected to the navel and the heart. The heart is connected to the throat. Then, from the four swirling veins in the conch-like brain, one vein that causes appearance in the objects of the senses divides into five tips and becomes the support for the five doors. That is called the clear sense organ vein of merit and demerit. In Kashmir, the two branches like the roots of fine sheep's horns rely on the clear essence of the eye's pupil. Since they hold both samsara and nirvana, they arise as the nature of water, half black and half white. It is called the lasso of the water lamp, which is actually (355) the eye. Relying on that, the lamp of the empty bindu appears like the eye of a peacock feather. Its radiance, the lamp of the utterly pure realm of reality, appears like the letter na ro. Its power, the lamp of self-arisen wisdom, appears as the power of knowing. From the Brahma's aperture at the crown of the head, the non-conceptual body of awareness itself appears. Relying on that, the appearance of the direct perception of the nature of reality can be determined right now. Therefore, there is no need for mental fabrication or verbal imputation. Transcending the view that grasps with the mind is the key to the direct perception of the nature of reality. Seventh, it shows where that appears. The realm of reality of the outer environment appears in the empty, cloudless sky. That is because the emptiness of the environment is the basis for the appearance of the emptiness of awareness. Thus, in the Compendium, it says: What is this meaning? Examine the pure sky. And in the Great Sky, it says: The empty sky is unborn, and the yogi's path of action is in the sky. And so on (356), it is said in many sutras and tantras. The realm of reality of the inner environment is the various
