If one is ill, and the child is around (348) years old, a feast should be held, and red clothes should be worn. If the cheeks are sunken, in the activity of earth, make tsha-tshas as many as the number of years; in the activity of water, sprinkle water as many as the number of years; in the activity of fire, perform fire offerings as many as the number of years; in the activity of wind, wave green prayer flags as many as the number of years; in the activity of space, recite ཨེ(Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, Literal meaning: ai)as many as the number of years. If the breath is rough, recite གུ་ལ་ཡྃ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: यं, Romanized Sanskrit: yaṃ, Literal meaning: yaṃ)and eat brown sugar. If the nose is crooked, visualize a white ཧཱུྃ(Tibetan, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: hūṃ)on the tip of the nose and recite. If tears are flowing, visualize བྷྲཱུྃ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: भ्रूं, Romanized Sanskrit: bhrūṃ, Literal meaning: bhrūṃ)in the eyes and recite. If the left cheek is sunken, visualize ཀྵོྃ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: क्षों, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣoṃ, Literal meaning: kṣoṃ)and recite. If the teeth are clenched, visualize སྣྃ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: स्नां, Romanized Sanskrit: snāṃ, Literal meaning: snāṃ)and recite. If there is a black spot on the tongue, visualize ཧཱུྃ(Tibetan, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: hūṃ)and recite. If the ears are sticking, visualize མུྃ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: मुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: muṃ, Literal meaning: muṃ)and recite. If the pulse is not beating, visualize ཧཱུྃ(Tibetan, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: hūṃ)and recite. If there is a mole on the chest, visualize those letters, recite as many as the number of years, and write them in that place with vermillion and incense. If there is no Tshe-dpag-med (Amitayus) image, offer a hundred tsog offerings to the lama. If the right hand is missing, make a cubit-long dough effigy with a lion's head and an open mouth, glue on it as many domestic bird feathers as the number of years, and send it to the crossroads on the north side. If the left hand is missing, in the vulva of a vixen, put the tooth of a black tiger, the tooth of a black pig, and three teeth of a black dog, then fill it with dough mixed with your own urine and throw it into a large river. If the right leg below the knee is missing, at sunset, burn as many sandalwood or cedar fires as the number of years. If the left leg is missing, make a cubit-long white earth effigy, make a four-finger-wide black tiger skin at the heart, make slits according to the number of years, insert a stake smeared with mustard, and send it to an empty temple overnight. If the right side of the head is missing, mix nine kinds of incense and black tree fruits with soil from a burial ground, make a closed gau box, put in it your own hair, pieces of clothing, dirt, and blood. Write the names of the years on twelve pieces of oxhide paper, and write "Each year, take away this year's king!". Put these in the gau box, then put many different kinds of thorns on top of the seal, and at midnight, wearing black clothes, send it to the cemetery. If the left side of the head is missing, in the heart of a torma made of twenty-five kinds of grains, put the bones of a human, a horse, and a dog, wrap it in your old clothes, and at dusk on the eleventh day

Entrust it to others, walk three hundred and fifty steps to the south and put it in a pit. Recite your own name and make a crying gesture three times, then bury it. If there is no part above the neck, then make a fire offering with thorny firewood in the southeast direction equal to the age, gradually burn it and recite རྃ་ (Tibetan: རྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: ram, Chinese literal meaning: let) the same number of times as the age. If there is no part including the neck, then smear the corpse with charcoal and tie the hair on the top of the head. Write your age and the name of the zodiac year on a four-finger-wide piece of paper, write the seed syllables of the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind in the four directions, tie it to your nose, and run in the four directions at midnight on the ninth day, saying many irrelevant things such as "Take it away རྃ་ཙི་ (Tibetan: རྃ་ཙི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: ram zi, Chinese literal meaning: let ཙི་)", and then bury the paper in the cemetery. If there is no upper body, then light a fire and burn the tablet with the names of the twelve zodiac signs. If there is no lower body, then burn the smoke of various bones in the cemetery. If the body has no right side, then make tsatsas equal to the age and recite the crown chakra Buddha the same number of times as the age. If there is no left side, then wear red clothes and recite the five protective dharanis the same number of times as the age. Since the connection between heaven and earth is broken, read many scriptures and try to accumulate merit as much as possible. Since the Leo does not descend, perform the mandala ritual the same number of times as the age. If the wish-fulfilling tree is broken, then eat three fruits, plants near Ram, and medicinal ghee mixed with wands. Use blue-red steam to make the shape of the twelve zodiac signs for the body, and then transform each one with the colors of the four elements, making a tsatsa, an angry torma, and a tiger homa for each, and then send them to the northeast cemetery at sunset. Scatter black ragged cloth with various grains and iron-copper powder in the four directions. Mix a small amount of red mustard-like bindu with your own scent, make silk effigies equal to the age, decorate them with red silk colored threads, insert them, and send them to the east road together with various bones. Since there is no steam of feces, look to the west when the sun is a spear's length away, recite the horse's neighing sound, write the seed syllables of the four elements on the horse's skull and raise it. Since there is no thunder in the ears, think of ཡྃ་ (Tibetan: ཡྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: yam, Chinese literal meaning: yang) in the heart, turn the eyes upwards, and let others pour nectar water from the top of the head. Since the wind sound of the ears says it is east, make tormas of various foods equal to the age, and send them to the base of a large tree together with the names of the twelve zodiac signs. The leaves of the wish-fulfilling tree are lush, so gather.
