On the top of Mount Meru, observe whether the unmoving sun sets or not: if there is no light when you close your eyes, something will happen within three days. In the gap of Mount Meru, observe the sound of the dakinis: lying down like a lion, put your ear to the ground, and if there is no sound, something will happen within five, seven, or eleven days. Observe whether the wish-fulfilling tree is possessed by demons: if seven hairs stand up at the nape of the neck, death is certain within seven days. Second, regarding deceiving death, summarizing from both, the general method of deception is: Offer to the Guru and the Three Jewels, accumulate merit, practice longevity, and perform the interdependent origination of the elements. That is, the wind wheel has four spokes and a center with a rim. Write "རྃ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari ram, Sanskrit Romanized ram, Chinese literal meaning: fire) in the eyes, "ཡྃ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari yam, Sanskrit Romanized yam, Chinese literal meaning: wind) in the ears, "ལྃ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari lam, Sanskrit Romanized lam, Chinese literal meaning: earth) in the nose, "ཁྃ" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari kham, Sanskrit Romanized kham, Chinese literal meaning: space) in the tongue, and "ཨེ་" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari e, Sanskrit Romanized e, Chinese literal meaning: oh) in the heart, and then place it. Make a substitute from the meat paste equal to your age, and change its color with white and red clay, etc., making it black, red, yellow, white, green, and variegated, and arrange it on flags, etc. Decorate it with your own dirt, etc., as well as clothes, hair, nails, nasal and oral fluids, and powdered jewels, wool yarn, and silk. Insert many ominous bird feathers. In front, place colored tormas, each with a number equal to your age, and cups of chang equal to your age.
