It does not move because it appears in the sky. If it moves with conceptual thoughts, or if the eyes and body move, then the appearances also come and go because the wind is moving. If you think that the appearances are the radiance of the lamps in the veins, and that it is not reasonable for them to move when they meet the wind in the heart, then the answer is that the lamps are the radiance in the heart, and it is reasonable for them to appear in the sky. Furthermore, when you use conceptual thoughts to judge the brightness, darkness, good, and bad of the light, it is also when the mind meets wisdom. Secondly, there are two ways of separating: Even now, when you are in the state of clear light, in the great state of clarity and emptiness without grasping, the radiance radiates outward from the lungs, and the heart is asleep and resting on the ground. Therefore, no matter how the wind moves, it is the key to not having conceptual thoughts, so there is a temporary separation. Because the throat is not separated, the radiance radiates to the lungs again, mixes with the wind, and radiates to each door, so the mind arises with the conceptual thoughts of not remembering one but remembering nine. The last way of separating (232) is: The last way of separating is when you die, the mind leaves the lungs, and from the hole in the throat, from the two nostrils and the mouth, you say "Ha" and the breath goes out, and you say "Hu" and the breath comes in. When the Lord of Secrets transcends the mountain of existence, it is powerful to exhale from the moving wind. It is powerful to exhale into the sky because it is not accumulated. The wind that is inhaled draws inward from the outer sky and gathers inward, dissolving into the wisdom of the mind. Because it radiates outward and does not accumulate, it dissolves into the sky, so it is called the intention of the mind-riding wind. Finally, when you say "Ha" and go out, and you say "Hu" and do not gather inward, then you separate. As it is said: At the time of death, the upward-moving air is cut off, and the downward-clearing air returns inward. When you are equally present in the heart, because there is no wind of the mind's horse, the power of wisdom dissolves inward, so the mind and wisdom separate, like a blind horse carrying a lame person, like a person who has lost his eyes. At that time, only wisdom is clear inside, as it is said in the Praise of Names: Only knowledge (233) is definitely clear. Thirdly, the way in which these two act as the basis for samsara and nirvana is as it is said in the former: Son of lineage, the mind and the mental factors are the cause of samsara. As it is said, the mind
