It serves as the support. One pierces the tongue, serving as the support for the tongue consciousness. The weaker pulse emerges from the left side of the heart's tip, emerging from the network of throat pulses, dividing into three tips. The middle one, with countless branches piercing all directions of the body, serves as the support for the body's consciousness. The left and right ones emerge from inside the skull, piercing the two eyes, with thin roots and thick tips, resembling sheep horns, serving as the support for eye consciousness, acting on form, and especially enabling the seeing of the manifestation of clear light wisdom. The Kundali pulse is located in the exact center, dividing into three tips. The tip pierces the central bindu aperture. It serves as the support for the manifestation of the body of non-discriminating wisdom. In impure times, it serves as the support for the mind consciousness. The left and right tips pierce the left and right ears, (158) serving as the support for ear consciousness. Thus, these three pulses are the support for the five senses and six consciousnesses, or rather, any emotions such as attachment and aversion that arise in the afflicted mind rely on this, becoming the seven consciousnesses, or rather, the life pulse is the support of the mind, and from this, the support of all knowledge such as the five gates, the alaya consciousness relies on the life pulse, becoming the support of the eight consciousnesses, therefore, these three are called the three main pulses. The light pulse inside the central channel, with crystal-like pores, pierces the heart in the manner of light spreading, and radiates upwards to the crown of the head in the same way. Located in the marrow of the brain, it manifests as the form of a wrathful deity, with two tips piercing the two eyes. That too is like a scroll of white silk, luminous and subtle, without blood or serum, emerging from the heart through the throat passage, emerging from the marrow of the brain, dividing into two tips. The two tips with thin roots and thick tips, resembling sheep horns, pierce the two eyes, from which manifest various manifestations of wisdom, clear light sounds, body, and bindu light halos. If asked, are there pulses in the eyes that resemble sheep horns? Yes, (159) the crystal-like tube is the path for the manifestation of clear light, transcending the senses and consciousness. The two tips of the weaker pulse are grasping at form, and are the support of eye consciousness, and are used to view the sounds of clear light.

It is indeed very numerous! As it is said in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": From the three main channels, countless branches split off. Directly, they serve as the support for the sense gates. They reveal all dharmas. Especially those connected from the citta (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ་), with mouths like silk threads, sheep's wool, or animal horns, piercing the eyes of the senses, that is the path of all suchness. So it is said. Among those three channels, on the right is the aspect of skillful means, the white bindu pervading all. On the left is the aspect of wisdom, the red bindu of ultimate truth. In the center of the central channel, from a transparent container, flows the luminous bindu of wisdom. Among them, the right is wind, the left is the flow of bindu, it is said that it emphasizes the amount. For women, the left and right are reversed. The thirty-two channels plus the remaining channels appear coarser than when afflictions arise. Second, regarding wind, explaining the principle of the abode of precious light, it is divided into: ascertaining the wind of self-nature wisdom, briefly explaining the wind of its sound function, and elaborating on its branches through differentiation. First, in "Spontaneous Arising" it says: In the common body of all sentient beings, suchness pervades in the form of wind, subtly and truly moving and separating. Therefore, ascertain its essence, and explain in detail through differentiation in two parts. First, on the basis of the forehead, abiding in the rain of compassion and awareness, the radiance that appears anywhere does not cease. The five life-winds exist in the form of seeds, that is the object of knowledge used externally by the power of wisdom, the knowledge of awareness abides in the rain of compassion, the essence is non-conceptual wisdom, the power is the object, the radiance is the basis of awareness that does not cease from conceptualization. Second is differentiation, divided into five essences and five sound functions. The essences are: knowledge, non-conceptual, clear and bright, abiding in the rain of dharmadhatu wisdom; the wind of impartial wisdom; like a mirror, the basis for the manifestation of numerous images is complete, it is the power that makes the basis for the manifestation of numerous wisdoms pervade all wisdoms, making it complete; like a jewel, the manifestation of one's own qualities, is the upward movement of the nature of skillful means, the horse of wisdom; like a lotus, the awareness that is not stained by any faults of samsara and nirvana, is the wisdom itself that eliminates downwards; like ripening fire, abiding in the wisdom of accomplishing activities, it is the same as fire.
