It should be understood during the explanation that the horns emerge from the mouths of makaras (sea monsters), and the purity of the moon and ornaments is as shown in the nine-tiered top mentioned earlier. The five tips represent the purification of the five wisdoms. Explanation of the Reality of the Bell: Secondly, regarding the reality of the bell. In the Vajra Dakini, it is said that there are three types of bells: the bell of the Great Vajradhara, the bells of the respective families, and the bell of the heroes. If summarized, they can be condensed into two types: the wisdom bell and the samaya (vow) bell. Now, explaining these two bells, there are two aspects: the reality of the sound of the bell and the explanation of the form of the bell along with its characteristics. First is the reality of the sound. The Samputa Tantra says: 'The reality of unraveling wisdom, all the deities will hear.' It also says: 'Reaching the end of the realm of space, abiding in the essence of bodhichitta. All ten directions are the abode of knowledge, the world is boundless.' This indicates that the sound of the bell is the sound of the Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom), and through this sound, all dharmas (phenomena) are shown to be emptiness, unconditioned, and naturally pure. The scope of this sound being heard by all is vast, reaching the end of the realm of space; the duration is long, until abiding in the essence of bodhichitta; the space is vast, all ten directions are the abode of knowledge; the meaning is profound, the world is boundless, all pervaded by the sound proclaiming emptiness. This is what needs to be contemplated. The second part is the form of the bell. The Samputa Tantra says: 'The so-called eight directions are the eight famous goddesses. The eight letters as seed syllables are arranged in the eight directions.' 'In the east is the goddess Tara, in the north is the White-Clad Mother, in the west is Mamaki, in the south is Buddhalochana. Golden, honeyed, glorious mother, Vajra Mala is the fourth. The inner form is the sky, the form filled with glory. Arising from the blooming lotus, in the abode of the formless realm, like a vase of wisdom nectar. In the abode of wisdom nectar, in the center is the mind, the goddess is Prajnaparamita. The form is beautiful, the abode of qualities. The lotus on the vajra, how should one contemplate it as above? The inner wisdom stick, gathers and produces all.' These contents are basically the same as those in the Four Seats of Vajrasana, with only slight differences. In the Vajra Dakini, it is also said: 'Next is the characteristic of the bell, and the differences in measurements are also explained.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
