May all the seeds of negative karma and obscurations, along with their habitual tendencies, be purified and cleansed! To purify karmic debts: Hūṃ! This torma endowed with the five desirable qualities, is offered to purify the karmic debts accumulated through jealousy. May (we) be freed from the karmic debts of actions! At the end of the root mantra: Su sarva dula sarva karma grihana baling te svāhā! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal Chinese meaning:). By the power of offering this torma, blessed by the samādhi of the Bhagavan, the Noble Great Compassionate One, and endowed with the qualities of an inconceivable mass of five great desirable qualities, may the deceased (name), from this world to the next, from beginningless time in samsara until this present body, have all the taking of life, the three destructions, the defilement of offerings, blood feuds, debts, and all karmic debts accumulated in all three times due to the power of jealousy, be purified and cleansed! Place the name plaque in the center of the cluster of deity seed syllables: Hūṃ! Listen, deceased son of noble family! This realm of samsara is the realm of the gods, this place is the city of the desire realm of samsara, this continent is the continent of death, transference, and falling. Born from the cause of the karma of pride, pride is the deity that purifies suffering. I pray to the Bhagavan, the Sage of the Gods, to purify suffering. Bestow empowerment: Hūṃ! Teacher of the gods, lord of the gods, whose form blazes with marks and signs, holding a white bowl, a staff, and a bell, by bestowing empowerment upon this deceased, liberate (him/her) from defeat, downfall, and all suffering. Om, may all the seeds of sin and karma, along with their imprints, accumulated through pride, be absorbed into the vastness of the great element of earth! Wash with cleansing water, Hūṃ! Supreme and sacred water of meditation, for the sake of purifying the stain of pride, by thoroughly washing with the water of meditation, may distraction and sins be purified! At the end of the root mantra: A Sarva Deva Shuddhe Shuddhe Ye Svāhā! By the power of offering this Torma, endowed with the five great desirable qualities and inconceivable virtues, blessed by the Samādhi of the Bhagavan, the Noble Great Compassionate One, may the deceased, who has passed from this world to the next, be purified of all debts—theft, robbery, deception, defilement of offerings, blood feuds, loans, and all karmic debts—accumulated through pride in the three times from beginningless time until this present body! Place the name card in the center of the cluster of human seeds: Hūṃ! Listen, son of the deceased family! This place is the human realm of Samsara, this land is the city of busy and impoverished people, this continent is the southern Jambudvipa, born from the cause of the aggregation of the five poisons, to the deity who purifies the suffering of the five poisons, to the Bhagavan, the Able One among humans, pray for the purification of suffering, grant empowerment!
