May all the seeds of sin and karmic obscurations accumulated throughout the three times, along with their imprints, be dissolved into the vast expanse of the earth element. Wash and cleanse with water. Hūṃ. The supreme and sacred water of generosity, for the sake of purifying the obscurations of miserliness, by thoroughly washing with the water of generosity, may the obscurations of miserliness be purified. Bhagavan, noble great compassionate one, by bathing with the wisdom water born from the nectar of the samadhi of generosity, may the deceased who has passed from this world to the next, from beginningless samsara until this present body, due to the power of afflictive emotions and attachment, all the seeds of sin and karmic obscurations accumulated throughout the three times, along with their imprints, be purified and cleansed. Purifying debts: Hūṃ. This torma endowed with the five desirable qualities, accumulated by the karma of attachment, is offered for the purpose of purifying the debts of the deceased, may they be freed from karmic debts. At the end of the root mantra: By the power of offering this torma, the heap of the five great desirable qualities blessed by the samadhi of the Bhagavan, noble great compassionate one, endowed with inconceivable qualities, may the deceased who has passed from this world to the next, from beginningless samsara until this present body, due to attachment, all the debts of stealing, robbing, plundering, defiling the wealth of the Three Jewels, blood feuds, debts, and all karmic debts accumulated throughout the three times, be purified and cleansed. Place the name plaque in the center of the cluster of animal seed syllables: Hūṃ.
