Homage to the Great Glorious One! Through the profound path of great compassion, The method for guiding the deceased, A ritual for liberating beings from the six realms. Write down the notes on yellow paper. May future benefit for beings be accomplished! Samaya! Gya gya gya! Through the activity gate of the profound path of great compassion, this ritual for liberating the deceased from the six realms is shown through three meanings: preliminaries, main practice, and conclusion. Instantly visualize oneself as Great Compassion, in front of which, the object of focus is written on paper, coarse cloth, silk, etc., vividly. Instantly think of it as the actual deceased, the seed syllable "NRI" (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Shame) at the heart as the support of mind; writing the name as the support of speech; placing a mirror and heart jewel as the support of mind; displaying desirable silk clothes, food and drink, etc., thinking of them as the support of the three doors inseparable. Make the iron hook mudra. By stating the truth power of the deities of the three roots, may the deceased, wherever they may be in the three realms, five paths, or six realms, be instantly and involuntarily hooked and brought forth, thinking of them as inseparable from the image in front, and dissolve them with the mantra "JA HUM BAM HOH" (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं वं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Descend Hum Vam Hoh). Also recite the following from the mouth: The following is the connection of the ritual. Namo to the kind root and lineage glorious and holy lamas. May the words of the Buddha be true. May the words of the Dharma be true. May the words of the Sangha be true. Through the power of the truth of the words of the Bhagavan profound path of great compassion mandala deities and their retinue, and the blessing of the great compassion of great truth, may these deceased who have passed away from this world to the other, wherever they may be in the three realms, five paths, or six realms, come to the front in an instant,

May the deceased be inseparable from this. Dza Hum Bam Ho! Recite three times, and seal with the iron hook mudra. Hum! I am the loving protector, the refuge of beings, From the heart of the profound secret path, Rays of great compassion emanate, The deceased beings of the three realms and five paths, Wherever the six realms of samsara dwell, May they be drawn here in an instant! Thus saying, visualize the generation stage clearly. Hum! From the expanse of emptiness, self-arisen, Transforming into the form of great compassion, The great deity of supreme enlightenment, The form that subdues the hordes of disturbing emotions, With the powerful and blazing miracles, May the demons who harm the path of liberation, The flesh-eating demons who take life, be pulverized! Thus saying, dispel with the mantra of Hayagriva and Sumbhani. Burn gugul incense, and sprinkle with white mustard seeds. Then, visualize the generation stage clearly and generate intense compassion, And introduce the deceased: Hum! Do not be distracted, do not be confused, son of the lineage, This is the self-mind that is pure from the beginning, Not realizing great compassion, You have wandered in the six realms of samsara, Experiencing the suffering of the six karmas, Even though you have obtained the leisure and fortune of a human body, You have wasted your life, not accumulating virtue, Although you did not think death would come, Today you are caught by the noose of Yama, All that you have accumulated is left behind, All the ripening karma accompanies you, Separated from relatives, friends, wealth, and possessions, Alone, frightened, wandering in the bardo, The illusions of the six senses are used by the wind, Alas, conditioned phenomena are impermanent, There is no happiness anywhere in samsara, Do not be attached, meditate on great compassion, Do not be confused, listen to the guru's instructions, Do not be distracted, relax your body and speech, Fragrant clothes and name banners are the support for the body, Name and written paper are the support for speech, The clear mirror is the support for mind, Display the necessities, Food and drink are piled up like a sea, Bless with the mantra of samadhi, Please abide in this deity image. Thus saying. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Second, the main part of the sequence: Place the paper in the center of a pile of hell seed syllables. Hum! Listen, deceased son of the lineage, This place is the realm of the evil destinies of hell, This land is the city of Naraka where boiling and burning occur, This continent is the continent of hot and cold hells, Born from the cause of the karma of hatred, Is the deity who pacifies the suffering of hatred, Great compassion is the king of Dharma, Suffering
