At the end of the root mantra: Sarva Preta Ka Grihana Balinta Svaha! Place the name card in the center of the cluster of animal seed syllables: Hum! Listen, son of the deceased lineage! This place is the realm of animals in the lower realms, this land is the city of animals, this continent is the continent of ignorant animals, born from the cause of ignorant karma, the deity who purifies the suffering of ignorance, to the Blessed One, the Thuba of animals, pray for the purification of suffering! Grant empowerment: Hum! The teacher of animals, the protector of animals, the body blazing with marks and signs, holding a dark blue begging bowl, a staff, and a hand drum, by empowering this deceased, may they be liberated from all suffering of foolishness and dumbness! May the gate of animal birth be cut off! Sarva Tiryak He Du Hum Svaha! To extract poison from the earth: Hum!
