Ah! In the hearts of oneself and the retinue deities, beams of light connect like a bundle of five-colored silk threads, and one's own body, which appears to be substantial, is liberated into the great body of perfect enjoyment. At that time, appearances are liberated into clear light, and the appearances of substantial earth and stones naturally subside. The inner illusory body is liberated into clear light, and the mass of flesh and blood naturally subsides. The secret afflictions are liberated into clear light, and the appearances of the two obscurations naturally subside. The very secret appears as body and wisdom, and in the Akanishta realm of suchness, self-appearance is purified. As the supreme wisdom of knowledge expands, the mandala of knowable things becomes self-illuminating. Thus, when awareness reaches its limit, even without cultivation in the intermediate state, the nature of reality is thoroughly transparent, naturally arising in all directions, and ultimately, by recognizing the sambhogakaya, the clinging to the body is naturally liberated. Fourth, the appearance of the exhaustion of reality is: the increase and decrease of external experiential appearances, the exhaustion of the dharma of the inner illusory body, the exhaustion of the mind of secret conceptual thoughts, all words and delusions naturally exhaust themselves, and the mind that clings to appearances as such exhausts itself. Only a fingernail-sized appearance remains in the light, and one is separated from the concepts of samsara and nirvana, and appearances are not established as the nature of anything. At that time, one is not disturbed by the elements, there is no appearance of the sun and moon, the concepts of going and staying disappear, memory is faint and without trace, and direct knowledge is unobstructed. Only a clear aspect of compassion remains. Thus, the necessity of seeing the appearance of the exhaustion of reality is: to grasp the extent of appearances in the intermediate state, thereby distinguishing boundaries, and ultimately, to see the appearance of the exhaustion of reality, thereby decisively attaining nirvana without remainder. Second, the practice of the four extremes: establishing the foundation on the three immovables, measuring with the three abidings, nailing down with the three attainments, and showing the degree of liberation of the four confidences. First, abiding constantly in the three postures: when the body does not move, the channels do not move. When the channels do not move, the eyes do not move. When the eyes do not move, the wind does not move. When the wind does not move, the mind does not move. The activity of that itself ceases, and awareness abides without wavering, which is necessary. Second, one should not move from the three ways of looking with the eyes: that is, the vital point of awareness is the channel, the vital point of the channel is the door, and the vital point of the door is the lamp. When the channels do not move, the eyes do not move. When the eyes do not move, the lamp does not move. The lamp

If the body doesn't move, the mind doesn't move. Once the mind doesn't move, the scattering of discursive thoughts cannot arise. Therefore, it is necessary to have the need for the inseparable union of the expanse and awareness. Moreover, if discursive thoughts are examined, although they are the play of wisdom, because one does not recognize their own nature, they are the nature of samsara, like an appearance that is there but not there, like a reflection. The awareness of compassion is like the surface of a mirror. Therefore, as long as it is clear, due to the causes of various objects, reflections appear without ceasing. If one grasps them with the mind as existing or not existing, one is bound. If one does not grasp them, one is liberated. If one grasps them, even seeing, meditating, and virtue will bind one. Just as reflections appear as long as forms are not gathered in, if one does not grasp them, even the five poisons of affliction will liberate one. Just as knowing the key point of reflections, one does not move from the mirror. When compassion dissolves into the inner self, it is like turning the back of the mirror outwards, and no good or bad reflections appear. On the clear surface of the mirror, the single, unwavering intention of the inseparable union of body and wisdom abides. Secondly, measuring with the three abidings: because one abides in the expanse and awareness for a long time, the measure of stability, the three abidings, arises. When the wind that moves external appearances is exhausted, the expanse and awareness abide without coming or going. When the wind that moves the internal aggregates is exhausted, the body abides without moving. When the wind that moves secret discursive thoughts is exhausted, discursive thoughts abide in self-dissolution and self-pacification. At this time, there are two ways to measure: by dreams and by signs appearing in the three doors of body, speech, and mind. For the superior practitioner, dreams dissolve into the expanse and cease. For the intermediate practitioner, clear light and great bliss appear. For the inferior practitioner, one realizes that dreams are dreams. The signs appearing in the three doors are: three of the four appearances, totaling twelve. First, the three signs of the manifestation of the nature of reality are: the body is like a turtle placed in its shell, abiding without activity or movement. Speech is like a mute person, not wanting to speak. The mind is like a dakini being captivated, appearing to wander but being focused on a certain object. The three signs of increasing experience are: the body is like a sick person, devoid of grooming and ornaments. Speech is like a madman, all words being meaningless chatter. The mind is like a person poisoned by poison, not returning to the three realms. Awareness reaches
