Ma It must be one of either being cognized or not being cognized. Because it must be assumed in that way. If it is assumed to be cognized, then the pot truly exists. Because of that reason. The pervasion is established, if the analysis of meaning does not cognize, then it does not truly exist; if it cognizes, then it exists, because that is the pervasion. If there is no pervasion, then there will be no reason to establish it as truly existing or not existing. Because the valid cognition of meaning analysis must distinguish between truly existing and not existing. If it is not cognized, then, the pot, as the subject, is not something that is not refuted by the meaning analysis, because it is not cognized by it. For example, like true establishment. Also, because true establishment is excluded, therefore the complete exclusion of true non-existence is established, that must be cognized by the meaning analysis. Because the meaning analysis finds or cognizes that it is truly non-existent. If the reason is not established, then, if self-nature non-existence is reversed, then the manifestation as self-nature will also not be. In short, for the meaning analysis, it must be one of either cognizing or not cognizing. If it cognizes, then it must be said that it truly exists; if it does not cognize, then it must be said that it does not exist. If it is neither cognized nor not cognized, then the commitment to understand the true situation with two negations will be lost. Similarly, with the valid cognition of nominal analysis, if it cognizes that the pot exists, then the complete exclusion of the pot existing is established, therefore, the distinction of the pot not existing is refuted. Similarly, if it is established that the pot is, then it refutes what is not. For these four refutations, if it is established that the pot does not exist, then it refutes the pot existing, etc. If the meaning analysis cognizes true non-existence, then it becomes truly existing, because in that case, the pot will also become truly established, because truly existing and truly established are the same meaning. If they are not the same, then state the difference. Also, in general, first ask about the commitment that if cognized by the valid cognition of the two truths, then it exists, and if not cognized, then it does not exist. If so, if the meaning found by the meaning analysis valid cognition must be truly non-existent, then because true non-existence is truly existing, it must be admitted to be truly established. For true non-existence, true establishment is also refuted by the meaning analysis, but it does not refute true non-existence. For the pot, true establishment is also refuted by the meaning analysis, but it does not refute the pot. If so, then, for true establishment, it can also be reasoned that there is true establishment without true establishment. Because the pot and true non-existence, the pot and true non-existence themselves, are truly established. If it is not established, then the pot and true non-existence will not be established.

Because it is impossible for a vase not to be a vase. Written on the 19th day of the tenth month of the Fire Horse year. Is the conventional vase, which cannot be refuted by analysis of meaning, existent or non-existent in the ultimate sense? If it is non-existent, then it is not unestablished; if it is existent, then it becomes truly established. Is the reason for its non-existence that it is not observed by the valid cognition of analysis of meaning? If so, then it becomes established. If not, what is the reason for its non-existence in the ultimate sense? If it is non-existent in the ultimate sense without being established, then analysis of meaning becomes unnecessary. Observation by valid cognition is also the same, just as admitting existence or non-existence, the observation or non-observation by valid cognition that establishes existence or non-existence is also the same. If you say that the conventional vase is not the object of analysis of meaning, then is it not established by it, or is it not unestablished? Why is it not the object of analysis? For all phenomena that appear and are examined, and that can become objects of mind, it is possible to analyze whether they are established in reality or not. If it is not possible, then true establishment also becomes not an object of analysis, because there is no true establishment independent of the vase that becomes an object of analysis; and it is very strange that the substantial vase is not an object of analysis. If independent true establishment is refuted, then emptiness and dependent arising cannot be one, and everything becomes impossible. Just like a cow, even without a horse, it becomes emptiness, dependent arising, and union. To draw a picture on a wall, the brush and the wall must meet in the present moment to draw, the present and the future cannot meet. When they meet, the picture itself must appear at the moment of meeting, if it does not appear, how can the brush and the wall be separated and appear? Therefore, all the proximate causes are the former cause and the latter effect, so there is before and after, there is no simultaneity. The cooperative condition is the moment when the proximate cause meets, both the condition and the conditioned become special from the previous state, without before and after, they become special at the moment of meeting. For example, the specialness of the pottery vase being changed by the paint, the paint makes the dharma of the pottery vase special. From then on, for those similar continuations, they become things with that kind of name. Although momentary things only exist one by one, considering the continuation, it is said that the pottery vase did not have paint before, but now it has paint. The simultaneous cause is that in all cases they are mutually the effect, so there is no before and after. For example, adobe and a group are the same.
