Because of the difference. Therefore, non-dual Dharma nature is established. In the realm of Dzogchen, all Dharmas are complete, which is the Dharmadhatu Suchness. It is the emptiness that possesses all excellent qualities, not annihilation. Each's own nature, each's own self-awareness, transcends negation and affirmation, and there is no need to abandon or establish. It is without the change of the three times. It is the non-duality of samsara and nirvana. It is the equality of all. Without moving from this, various appearances of samsara and nirvana appear. In terms of the way of appearance, one can accept any of permanence and impermanence, negation and affirmation, etc. When all acceptances are abandoned, it can be said that it is none of the four extremes such as existence and non-existence, without making distinctions. The abiding appearance is all the same. In the Buddha's realm, there is no object more excellent than the Dharmadhatu. Although the Great Constant is spontaneously accomplished, for the sake of other disciples, it is established as impermanent by the way of entering with knowledge and compassion, just as seeing the stages of light and darkness in the sky will not make one think that the sky is impermanent. For students whose dualistic appearance or its habits have not been exhausted, the entry of knowledge and compassion is established as impermanent in terms of the way of appearance. As it is established, it is actually so. The Buddha's abiding appearance is the same, so his knowledge, compassion, etc. are established as impermanent by the conceptual mind of other appearances, but in reality it does not have to be so, which is the key to the distinction. The non-duality of the ground and the result is the characteristic of Dzogchen, which is the meaning of the ultimate abiding. The path is in terms of the way of appearance, and it is the object of practice for those with dualistic appearance. Therefore, the name of the object is established on the subject. Although it is established as impermanent, its nature will not become impermanent, just as the inclined shadow of the sun is a conventional truth, but it cannot deny that the sun is a true conventional truth. Also, in general, in terms of conventions, understanding the reality of the nature of mind, thereby perfecting the two accumulations, and ultimately achieving Buddhahood, all Mahayana practitioners agree that such a Buddha's mind will be transformed into non-conceptual wisdom. It must be admitted that this is the continuation of the present mind. The clarity and awareness of the mind continue uninterrupted, and will never be cut off. Therefore, it must be believed that in the bardo, it will not be cut off like a candle being extinguished, but will continue. Its cause is afflicted emotions, karma, and maturation.

Even if the conditioned cycle of samsara, which is included by causes and effects, is interrupted, the five aggregates included by unconditioned causes and effects will not be interrupted. Like this, the nature of that mind is not mistaken in its essence. It must be acknowledged that the mistake made by conditions is sudden. If the impurity of delusion, which is affliction, enters the nature of the mind, or if it is one inseparable essence, then even if one strives on the path, afflictions will not revert until the mind is exhausted. If afflictions revert, then the mind also ceases, and it must be acknowledged that this is true, as the Hinayana view holds, but it is not so. Even if ignorance, which grasps at two selves, is exhausted, the mind will not be exhausted. The mind does not arise from the cause of ignorance, but ignorance arises from the mind, like the thought of mistaking a rope for a snake. Because it can be shown by reasoning that the object of attachment to the two selves is harmful, there is reversion. Therefore, although the aspects of karma, affliction, and suffering are interrupted, the mind that grasps at selflessness does not revert. By this, unconditioned karma and unconditioned ripening, the qualities of purification, do not revert. The ways of grasping at self and selflessness are actually contradictory, and grasping at one prevents grasping at the other. Selflessness possesses the reasoning of reality and therefore has power, while self-grasping is deluded and does not have power, like light and darkness, like grasping a rope and grasping a snake, it can eliminate the latter. Although the mind grasps both, after realizing selflessness, it only grasps at the side of selflessness and does not rely on self-grasping. Therefore, the mindstream does not cease merely because the causes and effects of samsara revert. Even if the mindstream of samsara ceases, the mindstream of nirvana, unconditioned purification, does not cease meaninglessly. Therefore, ignorance is the way the mind mistakenly grasps at the nature of things in a reversed manner, and its antidote, the wisdom of awareness, is not merely the absence of thought. If it were merely the absence of thought, then earth and stones should also have it. If earth and stones do not have mind, then the qualities of mind, such as self-grasping, cannot exist. The wisdom of awareness is the mind that grasps at selflessness, therefore, just as mind-born ignorance is the cause of samsara, mind-born wisdom that realizes selflessness is the cause of nirvana. At this time, the commentary on the Kalachakra Tantra states that great desire itself is the antidote to ignorance, and it must be proven that the meaning is the same. Therefore, in the nirvana of the lower path...
