Refuting, etc. The luminosity of emptiness-form, etc., is posited from the perspective of establishing it as self-appearance. The luminosity of the nature of reality, etc., is also the same. Anything knowable that can be designated by name must be understood as having become interdependent and empty. If it is not, and only what arises from causes is the meaning of interdependence, then it is too narrow. Because all unconditioned things would become neither interdependent nor equality. Nāgārjuna quoted a scripture. Likewise, for all phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, on the level of whatever appears, there is the mode of emptiness, interdependence, and union. In the state of realizing the nature of union as it is, all the nets of elaboration, such as emptiness and appearance, are pacified, and only each one's own awareness is to be known. Furthermore, form, etc., arises from the elements, and in arising from causes, the world is manifestly established. Even without the elements, the appearance of form, etc., is manifestly established by dreams. Deep sleep in which the mind dissolves is also established. Therefore, various phenomena arise from the mind. External form, etc., is also the result of the mind's increased habituation. It is established as the self-appearance of an impure mind. The basis of mind, by the reasoning of the nature of reality, can be established as appearance-emptiness unconditioned. If that is established, then it does not need a cause. From that, form, etc., emptiness-form appearance-knowledge is like dreams, etc. Therefore, the root of everything is awareness. From within that, everything appears. Impure appearance is substantial and has causes and conditions. Pure appearance must be emptiness-form, indestructible. The causes and conditions for the appearance of emptiness-forms are the movement of primordial wind, so the increase and decrease, etc., appear. Like the high and low of the sky, in reality, they do not become impermanent and conditioned. From the aspect of wind, it is necessary or unnecessary to say that it is a subtle thing born from a cause, measure it with scripture, and establish it with reasoning. Furthermore, the basis as unconditioned is acknowledged by everyone. The result, from the aspect of its essence, is unconditioned. For those to be trained, the three of knowledge, love, and power in the way they appear are also established by the power of mind as conditioned. But the basis and result are inseparable, unconditioned. The path is generally to be established as conditioned because it is arising and ceasing. But for this, distinguish between the way it appears to ordinary beings' valid cognition and the way it appears to noble beings' pure valid cognition. According to the former, emptiness-form and all paths are appearances that alternate, so it is acknowledged as impermanent. Therefore, the view of Dzogchen is permanence. Likewise, meditation and conduct cannot be acknowledged as permanence.

Because it is impossible to change. Therefore, if we examine it from the perspective of nominal appearances, when the mind is placed on the ground of self-originated awareness, meditation arises. Holding onto that in accordance is like seeing, etc. If we differentiate from the perspective of the object of seeing and the seer, then we acknowledge that the object is impermanent. If we examine it from the perspective of ultimate reality, as long as the appearance of object and subject exists in awareness, it is conceptual thought. When that subsides and awareness itself is recognized as non-dual, there is no difference between the seer and the seen. Similarly, all paths such as meditation cannot be determined apart from that. This is the meaning of the ground being complete, the path being complete, and the fruit being complete. Regarding this, as it says, "In the great perfection of non-action, the delusion of counting grounds and paths is a mistake." Thus, the explanation of the ground of the eight vehicles is complete here. Since the ground, path, and fruit are all complete, everything is complete in the single bindu of self-originated wisdom, uncompounded, and complete in equality, without difference. In that respect, Dzogchen acknowledges awareness as the great self-originated, uncompounded wisdom. Since there is not even a little bit of dharma other than the reality of meaning, the compounded path and compounded samsara, etc., are not observed, so there is no acknowledgment of them. For example, in the samadhi wisdom of the noble ones, there is only the reality of the indivisibility of space and wisdom, without object and subject. Since all dharmas have become equality, compounded and uncompounded are not observed. Similarly, it is like being free from all conceptual acknowledgments such as no path, no wisdom, etc. If it is not established by the reasoning of the nature of reality, the wisdom that realizes reality as it is will not arise, so it must be determined in this way. Although the reality can be measured by seeing, However, in the subsequent determination, the objects of the discriminating consciousness that grasps at the names of views, practices, conduct, grounds, paths, fruits, etc., as "this and that," and the way of measuring with the pramana of direct perception, and the pramana of pure vision after determining reality, the ways in which they appear are different. The empty forms of the play of awareness appear as impermanent with causes in the realm of discriminating consciousness, and are established as impermanent. In the realm of subsequent wisdom, empty forms appear as permanent without causes, and are held in that way. Generally, sometimes impermanence is spoken of, such as the emptiness of the truth of a vase, but it does not need to always appear and exist.
