This is what is said in the Root Tantra of the All-Creating King. If it is explained according to its meaning in works such as the Treasury of Dharmadhatu, then this is undeniably established. Therefore, for such a mind's nature, the self-arisen wisdom, which is naturally luminous, there is no elaboration whatsoever, Therefore, for it, the two terms of newly realized or not realized do not exist in the Dharma. For the mind, there are the two, realized and not realized. Therefore, the mind's nature is the Thusness that is to be realized by the path and has always been present, and that which realizes it is the intellect, that is, the wisdom of hearing, thinking, and meditating. That is the mind at the time when the conceptual thoughts of hearing, etc., have not ceased. When that mind recognizes that nature, the mind itself also realizes in the state of that nature, without the difference of grasper and grasped. Therefore, although there is no term of realized or not realized for the ground nature, one should know that the term of realized or not realized is due to the power of the sentient beings' mind that arises from the state of nature. If one recognizes the luminosity of the ground of nature, or in other words, recognizes the reality, through the path of liberation, then by continuously practicing it, when habit is formed, the five sense consciousnesses dissolve into the mind, the mind into the alaya consciousness, the alaya consciousness into the ground, and when the ground dissolves into the luminosity of the emptiness of the nature, even if the eight aggregates of consciousness completely cease, the awareness of the nature, the wisdom of self-arisen luminosity itself, Due to the power of previous habit, in the absence of the three conditions that provoke, in the example of space, the realization of luminosity, the recognition of luminosity, will appear. For ordinary people who do not have the causes of the path, even after the eight aggregates of consciousness have ceased at the time of death and falling asleep, the mind of nature, or the original mind, cannot change, because it is uncompounded and immutable. Although it is not non-existent, it cannot be recognized, therefore, that state is called the state of mindless darkness. In order for the yogi to manifest the luminous mind through the path of skillful means, first the generation stage and vajra recitation, etc., are performed, and then in the completion stage, when the mind is focused on the subtle nada in the heart, appearances such as mirages will appear, and in the three stages of appearance, increase, and attainment, the three appearances of the white path, red path, and black path will appear, and finally an experience like a cloudless sky will arise.

At this time, subtle thoughts have not ceased, although it is not the actual ground luminosity, its form is somewhat similar. If one becomes repeatedly familiar with it, it will transform into the realization of the meaning of luminosity. Moreover, at night, by focusing the mind on the white "Ah" (ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) syllable in the heart, when the consciousness of sleep is gathered inward, there will be the experience of three visions, and the appearance of a similar aspect of luminosity like a pure sky. Furthermore, through various instructions such as the Space Trilogy, experiences resembling clear and transparent skies will also arise. All of these may be similar to luminosity, but they are not the actual realization of the meaning of luminosity; they are experiences. Experience means that a similar aspect of the state of luminosity arises in the mind, which is also called exemplary luminosity. The essence of wisdom is not called experience, but rather the luminosity of meaning. Therefore, all those who meditate with self-conceited minds, clinging to the object of meditation as luminosity or emptiness, even if a similar aspect of emptiness and luminosity arises, it is like a painted moon. If, according to the meaning of the Great Perfection's direct introduction to the nature of mind, one directly ascertains the unborn state of one's own mind without the need for fabrication or analysis, then that is the actual exemplary wisdom, like the moon's reflection in water. Practitioners of Mahamudra or Great Perfection who realize such a state of mind do not realize it through inference, but through their own direct experience. Therefore, many holy beings have also said that this is the path of seeing in mantra. The absence of twelve hundred qualities and so on is explained in terms of the obscurations of the growing body and so on. Longchen Rabjam believes that although it is not the actual path of seeing in mantra, it is the actual realization of the suchness of reality. Since the path of seeing must have twelve hundred qualities and so on, this is considered exemplary wisdom even though it is self-cognizant manifestation. The wisdom of meaning, like seeing the actual moon, is considered the path of seeing. Therefore, confusing the object of realization with the one who realizes, and the mind within the eight consciousnesses, and the self-power of wisdom that transcends the eight consciousnesses, the two self-arisen wisdoms that discern, are the same in the characteristic of distinguishing all phenomena, but wisdom has not yet arisen, and those who seek the meaning of Great Perfection in conceptual consciousness, what the Great Perfection indicates is the original mind.
