, and, without ceasing, without changing, I truly know. Whatever the nature of affliction is, I also truly know. Thus it is said. And in the Tantra it is also said: The nature of mind, the Dharmadhatu is vast like the sky. All phenomena are pure, and from the beginning are luminous. The nature of the yogi, is beyond words and thoughts. To the equanimity Bodhicitta, I constantly prostrate. Thus it is said. And in the treatise it is also said: Apart from the Dharmadhatu, there are no other phenomena. Thus it is said. In short, in the Sutra of the Samadhi of Supreme Tranquility, Perfectly Ascertained Miraculous Power, it is said: Manjushri, whatever Dharma the Tathagata teaches, all those Dharmas are inclined towards the Mahayana, converge into the Mahayana, accomplish the omniscient wisdom, obtain the omniscient wisdom, and enter for the sake of obtaining the omniscient wisdom. Manjushri, therefore in that Buddha-field, there is no establishment of different vehicles. Thus it is said, just as the intention of all Sutras and Tantras converge into one point. Like this, for sentient beings who have not realized, the mind, this nature of arising and ceasing, is experienced through self-awareness, but although the self-born wisdom exists in the manner of Dharmata, it is not realized. Phenomena such as vases are of arising and ceasing, and appear as various kinds of multiplicity, this is known through other-awareness, but they do not know that there is no arising and ceasing, and that the nature of multiplicity is emptiness. Therefore, the Buddha's teachings are taught according to the capacity of the disciples, teaching the Dharma that they can understand, the meaning of these Dharmas can be summarized into the two truths, the ultimate result of the inseparability of the two truths, is the wisdom body of the Buddha accomplished in this way, this should be understood as the ultimate true meaning. Like this, the Bhagavan said in the Sutra: Bhikshus, if a Bhikshu who is complete in morality says that the Tathagata is not unconditioned, but is conditioned, then it is better for him to become a heretic and die. And, son of lineage, now you should look at the Tathagata's permanent body, indestructible body, Vajra body, not a body of flesh, but a Dharmakaya. And, if someone says that the Tathagata is impermanent, then it is like touching a burning pile of wood with one's tongue.

Even if executed and killed, one should not listen to the evil words of the guru! Thus, he instructed. Like this, these aspects of researching the meaning of primordial luminosity are extremely profound and vast. If one were to research for eons with a mind of speculation devoid of the lineage's oral instructions, one would not be able to comprehend even a fraction. If one were to comprehend it well, one would be able to unravel all the profound essences of the Great Vehicle's scriptures on cause and effect, it is a great Dharma that is an unsurpassed wonder. It is like the udumbara flower, which is rare to appear in the world. Even if one were to offer as many bodies as there are dust motes in the fields to the assemblies of victorious vidyadhara lineages who have clearly elucidated such a treatise, it would be difficult to repay their kindness, what need is there to mention others? Therefore, I, a lowly one born at the end of the Ancient Secret Mantra tradition, have also compiled the words of the omniscient guru into a single treatise in the manner of a collection, to the best of my ability. In this process, apart from adding a few paragraphs to connect the preceding and following sections, and a word or two to clarify the transition and a small amount of quotation, I have not altered or corrupted even a single word with my own speculation. This is greatly witnessed by the actual handwritten manuscript of the spoken words. However, there are many drafts of the spoken words that arose in the guru's mind from time to time, and those were only records of key points for the guru's own inspiration, and were not elaborated in detail, so the sentences are concise and very difficult to understand. Moreover, because my own innate and acquired qualities are extremely meager, there are bound to be cases of upside-down errors and misplaced chapters. Therefore, I earnestly request that the virtuous vajra brothers who were born from the words of the Dharma Lord Panchen Lama and who have confidence in the profound places carefully examine and correct them. And I earnestly request that the great holders of the Early Translation teachings cherish this profound Dharma as if it were their own child, keeping it secret from those who are not vessels and widely propagating it to those who are vessels. And I earnestly request that they open hundreds of gates of eloquent speech that arise from this root, so that the words and meanings of this world will not decline, but will flourish and expand. If you do so, then for the vast and voluminous scriptures such as the sutras,
