It is like this, although all phenomena are interdependent, what does the sky ultimately rely on to exist? Please contemplate this question, and you will understand the principle that it does not rely on anything. Similarly, the Bodhisattva who abides in emptiness like the sky, with great compassion without object, which has no concept of sentient beings and knows the ultimate nature, makes limitless great aspirations for their benefit, with the support of the power of aspiration, that is, arising from reliance on aspiration, showing various deeds of benefit and happiness in all realms of sentient beings, not touching the one-sided extinction of the fruit, nor abiding in the path of mere emptiness. Third, when, etc., two verses: When learning the Mahayana path, thus the Bodhisattva himself is proficient in the sacred meaning, dispelling the darkness of others' ignorance and becoming a light. When practicing this supreme Samadhi, which has emptiness as its object and pacifies proliferation, during this time of learning the path, one should not cultivate even slightly the characteristics that can be taken as an object, abide in the meaning of no characteristics, pacify the conceptual thoughts of samsara, and practice the complete pacification of the conceptual thoughts of nirvana, just as a bird flying in the sky has no other place to rely on, although it does not abide anywhere in that sky, it will not fall to the ground, similarly, the Bodhisattva practicing the three doors of liberation, does not touch the edge of nirvana with skillful means, does not practice the characteristics of existence with wisdom, does not abide in any dharma, nor does he fall into any extreme. Fourth, for example, archery, etc., two verses: For example, a person who is good at learning archery shoots an arrow with a wooden board into the sky, and then other arrows that follow it, successively connect to the back of the previous arrow, one after another, closely connected, so that the previous arrow has no chance to fall to the ground, but is pushed upwards, if those people want to stop this effort and not shoot arrows, then those arrows will fall to the ground. This analogy is like this.

Thus, the practice of the supreme Prajñāpāramitā, in the stage of the path, with means such as wisdom without object of focus, compassion, and complete dedication, and with the power of faith and the like, and miracles such as showing the body as desired, in this way, until the roots of virtue that are complete, mature, and purified are not perfected, the pure, undefiled realm of emptiness will not be manifested and attained in the bardo; before the work of fulfilling aspirations is not completed, it is the meaning of accumulating merit. Fifth, for example, a monk, etc., two verses: For example, a monk with supreme power of miracles dwells in the sky, and at once manifests various kinds of miracles, walking, standing, sleeping, and sitting in various ways, but for him, various activities do not make him feel tired, and his body does not feel weary. Similarly, any wise Bodhisattva who dwells in the meaning of emptiness like the sky, who is skilled in means, and who has reached the other shore of wisdom and miracles, although he does not dwell in the manner of focusing on any dharma, he shows beings various kinds of limitless and boundless deeds of benefit and happiness that are appropriate to each of them, and even for immeasurable and countless kalpas, he will not feel tired, and his body will not have any weariness. Sixth, for example, someone, etc., two verses: For example, someone is sitting on the edge of a great cliff, holding two umbrellas in both hands, and jumps into the sky, and if the body falls into the great cliff, due to the power of the umbrella being lifted by the wind, he will not immediately fall to the bottom of the cliff, but will move slowly in that distance. Similarly, if a Bodhisattva who is skilled in suchness and whose mind dwells in compassion completely holds the umbrellas of both means and wisdom, then, by holding the umbrella of wisdom, he will realize that all dharmas are empty, without characteristics, and without aspirations; by holding the umbrella of means, he will not touch the one-sided peace of nirvana, and will be able to see all phenomena as they are. Seventh, for example, a jewel, etc., two verses: For
