I, there is nothing to be discarded here, nor anything to be retained. Look at reality as it is, and be liberated by seeing it as it is. Thus should it be known. Secondly, regarding activities, there are two types of activities: not abiding in the extreme of peace and not abiding in the extreme of existence. First, as indicated by the verse "How do heroes act," etc., the heroic Bodhisattvas, no matter what state they are in or where they act, do not abide in either existence or peace, but abide in the originally pure and vast Prajñāpāramitā. They have completely transcended all the afflictions of the three realms, yet they do not abide in the one-sided nirvāṇa of liberation from existence, as do the Śrāvakas. Although they have eliminated the afflictions that arise involuntarily in existence, they skillfully manifest birth in existence. Although they are without old age, sickness, and death, they manifest death and rebirth for the benefit of others due to the power of compassion. When one realizes the Dharmadhātu that does not abide in existence or peace, great compassion, the self-arising fruit of realizing the profound Dharma, arises for those who cling to the extremes of existence and peace, and immeasurable skillful means are effortlessly obtained, which is the nature of Dharma. Secondly, as indicated by the verse "These beings," etc., these beings who do not possess the wisdom to realize selflessness are attached to the difficult-to-cross mire of the five aggregates of name and form, wandering in the wheel of saṃsāra like the wheel of the earth pushed by the sun and moon repeatedly turning. Thus, the three aspects of karma, affliction, and birth are connected, and the twelve links of dependent origination are connected uninterruptedly like a string of beads, revolving like a firebrand. These deluded beings, like animals caught in a net from which they cannot escape, are bound by their own ignorant minds, suffering and difficult to liberate. Therefore, those who possess the wisdom to realize this truth are not bound by the net of delusion, but roam freely in this realm of beings like birds in the sky. Thirdly, regarding the object of activity of the wisdom of meditative equipoise, there are two aspects: showing the object of activity that is non-activity, and explaining the benefits of acting in this way with examples. First, as indicated by the verse "Acting completely pure," etc., the Bodhisattva acts completely pure, what is form

Therefore, one should not focus on the self-nature of form and its characteristics such as impermanence. Similarly, one should not focus on consciousness, feeling, perception, and mental formations. Therefore, when one does not focus on anything, this action enables the complete abandonment of all coarse and subtle habits of clinging to things. Being liberated from all attachments is to act in the wisdom of the Tathagatas. Second, the collection of such conduct is one chapter. The wise and clear Bodhisattva who acts in this way cuts off all arrogant attachments and proceeds, and in some Sanskrit versions it is also rendered as "liberation." Equality is without attachment, progressing from higher to higher. For example, the sun, freed from the eclipse of Rahu (Tibetan: སྒྲ་གཅན་), shines brightly. Just as fire burns grass, wood, and forests, the light and flame of great wisdom can destroy the darkness and fuel of afflictions. Fourth, the instruction on the absence of focus on the aspect of equanimity wisdom. All dharmas, etc., is one chapter. Thus, all dharmas encompassed by defilement and purification are pure in their own nature, free from the nature of affliction, and the object of knowledge is also completely purified. If Bodhisattvas can realize the nature of things and abide in the meaning of the supreme Prajnaparamita, then the viewer, the practitioner of Prajnaparamita, is also unattainable, and the object of observation is also unattainable, abiding in the realm of the quiescence of proliferation, this is acting in the supreme Prajnaparamita. Third, in the gate of extensive explanation, there are the stages of training in yoga, and the manner in which the fruit of yoga is perfectly accomplished, and the exposition of the yogi, and the greatness of the person who enters in this way, and the greatness of the Dharma to be learned by him, in five points. In the first point, there are the nature of the yoga to be practiced, the merits arising from practicing yoga, the faults that interrupt in between, the function of yoga, and the explanation of the virtuous friend, in five points. First point, to the Victorious One, etc., is one chapter. Indra, the king of the gods, asked the Lion of Men, the Victorious One, what deeds were done by the Victorious Ones of the past.
