When encountering the Tathagata's teachings, which are like an island, one must achieve some fruit. For example, it is not permissible for merchants to go to a treasure island, exhaust their previous goods, and fail to gain any new treasure benefits, ultimately returning empty-handed. Although one holds the jewel of profound Prajnaparamita in hand, one should not discard it without cherishing it. Because abandoning the Dharma will lead to the exhaustion of previous merits, one should not act in this way. Second, regarding the method of cultivating in meditative equipoise, there are four aspects: the essence, function, object, and appearance of completely pure wisdom. First, the essence is one verse, such as "the purity of form." All dharmas are originally completely pure, self-natured nirvana, manifest complete perfect enlightenment, self-natured luminosity, and from the beginning, the essence of equality that is unborn and unceasing. All dharmas are a single bindu, the luminous dharmadhatu, in the great equality free from obscurations, cultivating as one taste, which is the essence of meditative equipoise wisdom. What is that state like? Just as "the purity of form" indicates, all dharmas from the object of knowledge, form, to omniscient wisdom, originally have no nature of dualistic opposites such as grasper and grasped, defilement and purification, self and other, existence and non-existence. The single bindu of the dharmadhatu, originally free from arising and ceasing, the equality of self-nature purity, abides in the great equality free from obscurations. Even so, when a sudden delusion arises in the state of non-realization, in the face of the defiled mind that imputes self and dharma, the object also appears impure, and the mind also grasps it as such. Therefore, it has the stains and obscurations of the defiled side, which is called an impure sentient being. In order to eliminate the sudden defilements, by entering the three vehicles, the reality of dharmata, self-nature purity, becomes clearer and clearer. Therefore, the four fruits of the Hearers, the fruit of the Solitary Realizer, and the realization of the Bodhisattva's path of seeing and path of cultivation on the nine bhumis arise. From the perspective of abandoning the defilements to be abandoned, they are called small, medium, and great purity, and those are sentient beings who are pure to varying degrees. That is also the object, form...

The nature of earth and so on is originally without impurity, but it is the same as the gradual purification of temporary stains that are grasped in a reversed manner. Just as one can see things more clearly after an eye disease is cured, the subject sees the purity of the object, and because of seeing it, the subject is also said to be pure. Apart from this, there is no other different way of purification. Thus, in appearance, it seems that the subject becomes more pure and the object also appears newly pure. But in reality, seeing that the nature of objects such as form is originally pure, that itself is the fruit of the subject being liberated from temporary stains. It should be known that this is originally pure, because the two are originally not object and subject, but abide in the key point of great purity, and the meaning is the same. Therefore, it should be known that the purity of these two is not different in essence. Similarly, the purity of the fruit and the purity of form and so on, that itself is the ultimate separation from the temporary, the extreme purity of completely abandoning the two obscurations, will become the purity of the omniscient wisdom. All these purities have the same key point in the meaning of the root nature's purity, just as it was said just now. Therefore, the ultimate purity is the purity of the omniscient one, and the purity of obtaining the fruits of the various stages of the path, and the purity of the phenomena of the aggregates, elements, and sources, such as the base form, although these three are different in appearance, in reality, they are the same as the space element without difference, and there is no distinction in the essence of one self-nature pure Dharmadhatu, and the mind cannot separate them either. Because the nature of the pure Dharmadhatu is directly seen as it is, in the face of the Buddha's wisdom, all phenomena are manifestly enlightened, or see their original nature of Nirvana, and there is no impurity. The wisdom of such realization is also the ultimate purity of completely abandoning all temporary stains, including habitual tendencies. Therefore, just as it sees, all phenomena do not have the nature of duality such as object and subject, but are originally pure and enlightened in the non-dual great equality, without distinction, becoming one taste. It should be known that this is the ultimate secret meaning of the Prajnaparamita, and it is also the way of naturally guarding the meaning of the true nature.
