Because of the swiftness and extraordinary greatness, the wrathful one's, inconceivable fierce mantra instructions, for those whom other antidotes are difficult to protect, out of compassion for the inferior followers of the degenerate age, spontaneously accomplished vidyādhara Padmasambhava, arising from the power of great, objectless compassion, especially arranged to destroy opponents, this possessing the four qualities of a fierce mantra army, is the inheritance of the victorious great vidyādhara. Those with courage, please accept it! Those who practice fierce mantras properly, have few obstacles and swift progress on the path, accomplishments are unimpeded, oath-bound ones gather like servants, the strength of power and ability is naturally perfected. Here, those with little merit lack faith, those with weak wisdom have jealousy, arrogance, etc., especially increasing, they regard the lineage of vidyādharas, and slaughter them like dogs, have you not seen this? Those who break vows and destroy the Great Vehicle's teachings, cannot be subdued by peaceful means, therefore, by applying the practice of mantras, strictly kill them, the tantras say that one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment. The nature of the degenerate age, beings such as humans and non-humans, for those who are extremely wicked and difficult to tame, the more they increase, the more powerful the fierce mantra becomes, like fire and firewood. Like this, if these inverted and confused groups are not liberated with compassion and skillful means, it is pitiful that they will wander endlessly in the lower realms, liberating with compassion is the best of compassion. Therefore, who is more compassionate than compassion itself? The wrathful one with blazing wisdom light, whose activities swiftly destroy the recollection of cause and effect, strive to gain power over the deities and mantras. Make offerings and rely on the eight classes of gods and arrogant ones, through practice and cursing, manifestly in activities, walking with raised faces and signs, until you gain confidence, first of all, strive in every way. The king of vidyādharas, with love, in this way, Guru Rinpoche (Slob dpon) performed a hundred different methods of subduing enemies, when the time comes to demand power like a debt, it will appear. Protect the teachings, future mantra yogis! This is not the work of any other mantra yogi, if you let the enemy raise their head, you will break your vows, if you call evil spirits and formed objects of the mind by the name of flesh and blood, they will be completely destroyed, then, the Buddha's teachings will flourish like daylight. A mantra practitioner without power is like a dog in an empty village, who will pay attention?

This method, without striking, can conquer. In action, cultivate power, employ gods and demons as servants. In wealth, use treasures and the like; in weapons, suppress nagas. In governance, suppress with laws. In food, devour enemies; in clothing, wear the hermitage. As companions, nourish dakinis, dharma protectors, and oath-bound ones. With both power and dharma, benefit beings. As said, hold the nectar of instructions in your heart. For the tumor of the mind that strives greatly for self-interest, it is not to liberate from the suffering of this life and the next, but to place the great dharma and the benefit of beings first, recognizing the antidote to the times. With fierce vajra activity, destroy the malicious enemy forces of the teachings. Accomplish both self and other benefits, and rest all phenomena and existence in the great bliss of pure equality. Merely reciting secret mantras, along with love and so on, and giving precious mind and so on as the way of practice, cultivate the key points without omission, and manifest the deity as mantra as a skillful means. Relying on this is the key to Vajrayana practice. It is also following in the footsteps of the empowered bodhisattvas. Without tasting the nectar of the meaning lineage, one disturbs the true meaning of scriptures with self-created discriminations. Merely accumulating empty words without realization, the so-called traditions of the saints, the tenets of old and new schools, seem to exist, but in reality, they certainly do not, like the hollow shell of a lion, merely external pretense, and transforming the scope of consciousness with verbal embellishments. Destroying the Buddha's teachings with the poisonous arrows of attachment and aversion. In this time when the teachings are declining and barbarians are rampant, afflictions are strong and difficult to subdue, life is short, obstacles are many, and the meaning of the Buddha's teachings is lost. No matter how much one strives in practice, one cannot grasp the intention of the saints and can only wander on the wrong path. Therefore, with the essential instructions, grasp the secret key points of the effortless path. Once one has grasped the fortress of view, one gains confidence in this life, practice becomes meaningful, and the fruits of action arise. Even in the degenerate age, one sees the greatness of secret mantra. Like pure gold, the core teachings, even if their own form is obscured, cannot be blocked like the sun. Therefore, in this extremely degenerate age, it is the activity of all Buddhas, the protector of the degenerate age, the lotus feet of Guru Rinpoche, placing them on the crown of one's head, and propagating his teachings, scriptures, and
