Even if you plant seeds in the spring, it will not eliminate hunger at that time. Even if poison enters the stomach, it only feels comfortable for a while. Gods, dragons, yakshas, and other powerful beings only grant temporary happiness. If you don't have the karma, you can't give it. If you could give it, why wouldn't you give it to all beings? Therefore, in order to be deceived by foolish words, for the sake of being free from illness and happy, like eating highly toxic substances, abandon speaking of harming as Dharma. Whatever you take refuge in, can that deity liberate you from all suffering forever? Or will you become inferior again like you? If it can truly be a refuge forever, then who gave it fearlessness? Since things are impermanent by nature, and it is seen that they arise from causes and conditions, Since all beings are without self-control, and this one enters with self-control, what is the cause of being free from decline? Please speak clearly, you who are self-righteous! Without needing to be certain with reason, if you hold on to me with mere words, whatever it may be, it is enough to hold on. What is the use of being attached to it? If your body is possessed by craving without knowing good reasons, what is the use of your philosophical system to you? Just relying on the effort to fill your stomach, just as you are attached to me, which god does not abandon self-grasping, is pleased by offerings, and displeased by not offering, that is also because of harm. He likes to kill other beings, likes flesh and blood, does not strive to benefit beings solely, and is controlled by existence. How can this one have self-control? Offering such a meat-eating god, even if he is temporarily satisfied, that desirous one will eventually eat you. Whose refuge is this unpredictable thing? Does that one who is regarded as a god have wisdom, compassion, and power? If he has wisdom, in which direction and time, who is making offerings and praises, can he see it? If he does not know, then offering to him will become fruitless at some point. If he can see, please tell me the reason why he is omniscient of all knowable things. If he has a compassionate mind, why is he pleased by killing? If compassion is divided, then he should not be worshiped by all beings. If this one has no power, then even if you offer to him, what can he do? If he has the power to protect forever, first he himself must be forever, before he has attained the state of bliss, he cannot bring other beings to eternal bliss. Therefore, this god is eternally blissful, what is that reason?

Furthermore, you assert: This is a state of perpetual bliss. However, something without a cause is impossible, and if there is a cause, what is that cause, and why don't you speak of it? If there is another who is the maker of happiness and suffering, then there is no autonomy here. Such a singular maker has already been refuted by reason. Lacking a means of proof and being subject to harm, if you rely solely on oral tradition, wouldn't you realize, upon careful examination, that that very oral tradition has deceived you? If it is not established by the power of valid cognition, then by means of methods and illusions, all the deceptive tricks that deceive children, even if shown, cannot establish that meaning. That which is established by correct reasoning, after severing the extremes of superimposition, even if led elsewhere from the outside by the world together with the gods, is known to be deceptive. Lacking knowledge and lacking compassion, lacking power, who can he benefit? Like ordinary beings, even if he benefits at times, he is not a constant refuge. The great demons who wander in the world realms, deceiving beings with various forms, are mistakenly regarded as gods by the ignorant. Thus, the root of all faults is the mind that clings to self. That also arises from attachment to the appearance of objects, therefore, when examining the self, like the mind of an ordinary person in Toyor, it is known to be mistaken, and by familiarizing with that, when the view of the aggregates ceases, all the afflictions that arise from that are established by the power of valid cognition to cease. Seeing such selflessness is like a fire when the fuel is exhausted, and one is permanently liberated from all suffering. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Outside of this, in any other direction, there is no liberation. Why? Because there is a mind that clings to self, and those who exist are deluded in samsara, afflictions, actions, and their results, the aggregates of samsara continue without interruption. Therefore, the teacher who shows the path of selflessness, that incomparable teacher, when established as a permanent refuge, his teaching and his followers are the perfectly established supreme Three Jewels. The true god and the harmless Dharma, whatever is the path to liberation, is impossible in your system, therefore it is known that you do not have the Three Jewels. If the path is not truly established, then the teacher who shows it and those who enter it will not become pure, like the fruit of a poisonous tree. The world arises from actions, and actions are virtuous and non-virtuous, successively leading to happiness and suffering.
