Thus, and so on. Secondly, there are two: establishing the selflessness of persons through reasoning, and establishing the selflessness of phenomena through reasoning. The first has two parts: explaining the reasoning of being neither one nor different at the root, and then elaborating on it by stating the reasoning of the sevenfold chariot. The first has three parts: refuting the self with the reasoning of being neither one nor different, dispelling the doubt that it cannot be established thereby, and refuting other forms of clinging to a self. The first has two parts: a brief statement and a detailed explanation. The first is: How is it that the agent, and so on? The second has two parts: that the self and the aggregates are not established as one, and that they are not established as different. The first is: If that self were one with the aggregates, and so on. The second is: If there were a self different from the five aggregates, and so on. The second is dispelling doubts. The school of the Sthaviras, and so on. The third is refuting other views of self. Thus, form is not the self, and so on. The second is the reasoning of the sevenfold chariot: That is, for example, the term "chariot," and so on. Secondly, to establish the selflessness of phenomena, there are two parts: a brief statement and a detailed explanation. The first is: If the self of persons is refuted by reasoning, and so on. The second has four parts: examining the cause with the vajra splinters, examining the result with existence and non-existence of arising and ceasing, examining the essence with being neither one nor different, and examining everything with the four great interdependences. The first has two parts: the reasoning of the four extremes of arising and ceasing, and the reasoning of the four alternatives of arising and ceasing. The first is: That is also merely a designation, and so on. Although there are internal divisions among these, they are made easy to understand here. The second is: Again, many causes produce one result, and so on. The second, existence and non-existence of arising and ceasing, is: Again, that which is to be produced, the result, and so on. This has the main text and the dispelling of doubts. The third, examining the essence with being neither one nor different, is, and so on. The fourth, examining everything with the general examination of the great interdependence, and so on. The third, the benefit of realizing thus, is: Thus, in conventional truth, cause and effect, and so on. The third, the summary at the time of explaining the four seals, is: The seals of the Great Vehicle, and so on. ༈. The third main section: In order to hold and propagate such profound and vast Dharma, the four kinds of perfect knowledge are explained. Connecting the previous and subsequent sections and making a brief statement, explaining its meaning in detail, and the first of the three concluding words, is: Thus, the ten grounds, and so on. The second has four: meaning, Dharma, exact definition, and confidence. The first is:
