Clusters of black sesame-seed-sized ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) syllables shimmered on the jeweled palace, their light a dark purple, teetering on the verge of melting. Through reciting the mantra that generates the palace, a great charnel ground palace appeared, crescent-shaped, dark purple, with a single door, a four-sided corridor, and door frames. It was constructed from three layers of flayed human skin, with blood used as an adhesive. Iron nails were hammered in, their heads adorned with planets and stars. Flames blazed from the eyes of the flayed skins, smoke billowed from their noses, and blood dripped from the pores of the skin. The sun and moon appeared and floated on the beams, and in the center was a nine-chambered pure room with a Brahma ridgepole, the eight ridge ends supported by eight purple pillars, which were the pillar ornaments of the eight planets. The eight great earth lords served as the pillar bases. Below the great hall, the roof was covered with the hides of monkeys and wild men. At the four doors, the jaws of garudas were the lintels, and tortoises were the thresholds. Statues of blue snakes and the jaws of makaras were hollow, and there were male and female door coverings. Inside were various ornaments such as field banners, and at each of the four doors stood a pair of tala trees. Many desire goddesses resided in the branches, and the roots and corridors were filled with whole, headless, half-decayed corpses, remnants, and so forth, where jackals, bats, vultures, and many other creatures frolicked, making it their place. In the center, eight arrogant gods were intertwined, and upon them was spread a peaceful lion seat, etc., which were transformed into the best gathering places, upon which were spread sun and moon lotus seats, and furthermore, the eight compartments, corridors, doors, and iron fences had interwoven tiras. Singletons and dried corpses served as seats. In this way, the five elements, Mount Meru palace, and seat, etc., from the previous peaceful state, were transformed into the charnel ground palace, a terrifying place, or one should thoroughly examine or meditate on this place. The second part includes transforming the main deity and transforming the retinue. The first part is indicated by "Wisdom Vow Great One," etc. The main deity, father and mother, are the embodiment of the five wisdoms, the father of skillful means, the Great Seal Vajra Heruka, and the mother of space, the Vow Great One Krodheshvari, both transformed into wrathful yogis.

Should be practiced. Thus, because the self-nature of the immovable one subdues with the wrath of the wisdom eye, the wisdom of the mind is clear as the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) in the heart. Combining it with the nasal sound and breath of Heruka, drawing it out from within oneself, it becomes clear on the sun disc above the tip of the nose. With the ritual of the four Hūṃ syllables, generate the wrathful deity. The first Hūṃ syllable purifies samsara with the light of the Hūṃ syllable, and all Buddha-fields also transform into light, so that all that appears and exists is clear as the syllable Hūṃ. The second Hūṃ syllable, contemplate that all sounds, whether grasped by wisdom or not, resound as the tone of the Hūṃ syllable. The third Hūṃ syllable, all those lili syllables return to the previous fourth Hūṃ syllable, contemplate that it is more glorious than a million suns. The fourth Hūṃ syllable, the Hūṃ syllable dissolves into light and merges into oneself, with words and mantras urging oneself to be clear as light or to blaze, one instantly transforms into Heruka, dark blue, with three faces, six arms, and four legs, holding the Patiśa staff and vajra, etc., with hand gestures, possessing the eight charnel ground adornments, dwelling in the midst of flames blazing like the fire of the eon, with legs extended and contracted, inseparable from the consort Krodheśvarīmā. Alternatively, by reciting the mantra of the wrathful deity, the immovable one instantly transforms into the glorious great blood-drinker, dark blue, with three faces, six arms, and four legs, holding a vajra and a red banner, etc. The hair is brownish-black, the locks coiled upwards, flames blazing at the tips, and streams of rakta flowing at the roots. Three rows of skulls and the sun and moon alternate, strung together with snakes, binding the top of the hair. From the waist emanates a wheel of wind, emitting greenish-black light, producing the color of fire. The eyebrows flicker like a thousand lightning bolts, and waves of wrathful wrinkles ripple between the eyebrows. The three right eyes have red veins in the solar disc. The three left eyes have red and heavy veins in the lunar disc. The eyelashes radiate rays of light like iron hooks, the three central eyes gaze with hateful eyes like seeds, the eye-clouds are red, and they are clear as triangles on the dark blue fruit. From the hollow space of the ear conch roars the sound of a thousand dragons, from the nostrils rises a whirlwind of black wind, emitting the tone of the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), and rays of light from the yellow-black beard radiate. Opening the three terrifying faces, curling the tongue,
