After asking whether one can offer whatever one has with faith, and whether there are obstacles such as not being allowed to offer; whether one wishes to attain enlightenment through the supreme path; whether one can accept vows with great responsibility; whether one can steadfastly keep the vows as taken without abandoning them. After asking these questions in order and receiving truthful answers, the disciple makes a request for empowerment, and the teacher asks what the disciple likes and the disciple answers. Then, the teacher grants permission, gives a flower and leads to the four doors to open them. Then, dispel the obstacles and introduce into the mandala, and observe where the flower falls by throwing it, open the eyes and ask what is seen, remove the face cover and advise to look at the mandala. Then, through dispelling obstacles, bathe with the vase, infuse the vow water, and establish the vow through the door of profit and loss. Perform the pointing out of the deities of support and supported, etc. Secondly, empowerment is divided into four: outer empowerment, inner empowerment, secret empowerment, and complete empowerment. First, as the verse says, "The teacher dwells comfortably on the seat as it is, and bestows pure empowerment in the vajra manner." In general, empowerment refers to the disciple's awareness, that is, the qualities abiding in the nature of the four bodies of bodhicitta, which are obscured by obscurations and not manifested. Through the teacher's profound wisdom and samadhi, performed as in the ritual, by this power, the sudden defilements in the disciple's continuum are purified, and extraordinary wisdom with the ability to attain the result is obtained. This is empowerment, because it enables the attainment of the result and meditation, hence it is called that. Regarding this, various classifications are mentioned in the tantras, but for the sake of the four temporary purifications, practicing the four paths, and for the sake of attaining the result of the four bodies or four vajras, its essence is summarized into four empowerments, namely, vase empowerment, secret empowerment, wisdom empowerment, prajna-wisdom empowerment, or outer empowerment, inner empowerment, secret empowerment, complete empowerment, or body, speech, and mind complete empowerment, etc., these are different names. Among these, first is the vase empowerment or the empowerment of outer benefit, the teacher throws the wisdom flower to the east, and there visualizes the glorious Heruka as abiding with the secret consort. Outwardly is a soft cushion, inwardly is a vast field, secretly is abiding comfortably on the seat of the consort with signs, and happily abiding, remembering the Sugatas and Bodhi of the past.

Therefore, one should bestow empowerments in the manner taught in the Secret Mantra Vajrayana, with the great blessings transmitted from one to another by bodhisattvas and accomplished vidyadharas. Thus, the outer empowerments are the throwing of the wisdom flower, the blessing of body, speech, and mind as vajras, the vase empowerment, and the seventeen empowerments such as the crown, diadem, garland of flowers, mudra, bhandha, vajra and bell, five desirable qualities, five ambrosias, five meats, substances for accomplishment, five divine substances, khatvanga, vajra phurba, life empowerment, king, and command seal empowerment, should be bestowed properly. Second, the inner empowerment: blessing the wisdom consort, commencing the union of non-duality, and empowering with bodhicitta, there are three. First: In the left direction, properly, unite as desired. Like the posture of a dancer, the mudra of illusion. From that, it appears like a rainbow. For the sake of clarifying desire and wisdom. Blazing with various lights of intercourse. Bless the queen who dissolves. Therefore, the student should examine and offer a qualified consort, offer it to the guru, and when the guru teaches the Dharma and the student listens, then empower and become skilled in the treatises on the means of union, and at the time of empowerment, on a comfortable seat, be situated on the left side of the guru. When the student makes a request for empowerment and the lama grants permission, the wisdom consort's posture etc. should be in accordance with peacefulness, and she should be properly situated. Meditate on the yoga of self-deity, and purify the ordinary body with the light of the A (ཨ,A,a,阿) in the heart of that consort, and in the state of non-objectification, visualize from the seed syllable as desired the form of the consort Samantabhadri or Krodheshvari, this is the blessing of the body image. Blessing by arranging the deity on the body is to visualize the father and mother deities clearly, and to engage in various efforts to please each other, acting like the posture of a dancer. Appearance without inherent existence, like the form of illusion, from that great mudra deity body, in the five places of the father, the five families, the five father Buddhas with their retinue of bodhisattvas, and in the five places of the mother, the five mother Buddhas with their retinue of mother consorts, and in the four limbs of the father and mother, the gatekeepers, father and mother, each appearing separately, that is, these mandalas do not obscure each other, the body
