Thereafter, some Mahayana teachings were collected by Manjushri and others, and through the transmission of most Bodhisattvas, they were propagated in the human world. The Fruition Vehicle of Secret Mantra was not widely taught by Shakyamuni Buddha himself to the common disciples in the human realm, but was taught in a temporarily hidden manner for the sake of the fortunate and excellent beings. Therefore, in order to dispel the doubts of ordinary disciples as to whether the Secret Mantra was the word of the Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha himself, in the assembly of common disciples at that time, explicitly prophesied that the Secret Mantra would now appear in the human realm. As stated in the Sutra of the King of Empowerment of Instructions: "After my Nirvana, in the year twelve after eight, the supreme essence of the teachings, in the palace of King Ja, through the blessing of compassion, Vajrapani will reveal it." In accordance with such clear pronouncements, the Buddha, with compassion, urged the Buddhas of the Five Families and the Regent Lords to write this Fruition Dharma on golden tablets with lapis lazuli letters, and through the blessing of compassion, it naturally appeared in the palace of King Ja. King Ja and the teacher Kukuraja realized its meaning through the blessing of Vajrasattva, and thus the Secret Mantra spread in the human realm. Furthermore, Manjushri made it appear in the realm of the gods, Avalokiteshvara made it appear in the realm of the nagas, and Vajrapani made it appear in the realm of the yakshas. In this Jambudvipa, the Kriya tantras were practiced in Varanasi, the Yoga tantras on the burning mountain of Rimala, the Maha and Anu tantras in the abode of King Ja himself, and the Atiyoga tantras in the island of Dhanakosha, and from there they spread widely to all places. Another explanation is that the four tantras are the Mother Tantras, and the five tantras are the common tantras of the Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Great Perfection. The Eight Classes of Illusion belong to the view of Ati and the conduct of Maha, and are therefore also considered to belong to the Anu tantras. However, it can be arranged in any way from the point of view of the Generation Stage, Completion Stage, and Great Perfection. These are the histories of how the Buddha's words came to be.

This is how it happened: More than a hundred years after the passing of the Teacher, in the city of Vaishali, five hundred Arhats from different Sravaka schools gathered and composed the Great Treatise Abhidharma-mahāvibhāṣā-śāstra, a work of three hundred fascicles, which was the beginning of the treatises of this teaching. From then on, to explain the meaning of the profound and vast words of the Buddha, great chariots such as Nagarjuna and Asanga, along with the assembly of students, the supreme ornaments of Jambudvipa, composed treatises. In terms of the Mantrayana, there were three commentaries on Bodhicitta, and the seven classes of siddhas, and so on, represented by these, many treatises composed by the great accomplished vidyadharas also appeared. A treatise is defined as that which follows the words of the Buddha and is well-spoken by an author who possesses the qualities. Its divisions are three: treatises that collect sutras, treatises that explain sutras, and treatises that are philosophical treatises on the meaning of sutras. The first is like the Dhammapada, and so on. The second is like the commentaries on the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra, and so on. The third is as it is said: "Meaningless, distorted, and meaningful, Malice, deceit, lack of love, abandon suffering, Hearing, debating, and practicing diligently, A treatise is considered to be free from six faults and possess three qualities." Like this, it is free from six faults and possesses three qualities, such as the six collections of logic and the five treatises of Maitreya. Having briefly described the general origin of the Buddha's words and treatises, now I will speak about the second part, how the particularly special tantra practice, the precious Dharma of the Eight Herukas, came about. This profound Dharma was spoken in the Akanishta heaven by Samantabhadra, the glorious Heruka, in vajra words to the pure retinue, and collected by the collector Vajradharma and others. Appearing as miraculous letters, it was placed in a precious box and entrusted to the Dakini Karma Wangmo Che, the ocean of Dakinis, in the great stupa Deche Tsekpa. At that time, in the terrifying place called the charnel ground Roling Silwai Tsal, the teacher of Padmasambhava, Humkara (ཧཱུྃ་ཀ་ར, Sanskrit: Hūṃkāra, Seed Syllable: Hūṃ, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།), Manjushrimitra, Nagarjuna, Dhanasamskrita (དྷ་ན་སཾ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ, Sanskrit: Dāna Saṃkṛta), Vimalamitra, Rombu Guhya, Shantigarbha, and
