Establishing the emptiness of the two graspings. Therefore, the various appearances are mistaken. First, with regard to external objects, there is no dependent object of grasping and grasper. With regard to inner consciousness, there is no dependent object of grasping and grasper. First, if we examine what the object of appearance is, since it is not established, the meaning of the object of grasping and the consciousness of the grasper are not a single, solid, coarse appearance composed of many parts, because the nature of the coarse is prevented from existing on one part. Nor does it exist on the many composed of many parts, for how can what is not on one be on the many? Because there is nothing called the many that are separate from each other. Therefore, the coarse appearance is not established as one or different from the limbs, so it is merely a designation, and nothing is truly established. Whatever appears, since it has not become a single part without parts, all appearances are unbearable to examine. Second, the thing and its reason for establishment. First, even if the external coarse appearance is unreasonable upon examination and can be non-existent, if the appearance of blue, etc., in consciousness is established by unerring experience, will it be established? The complete determination by consciousness experiencing objects such as blue is merely the appearance of inner consciousness itself. Moreover, the grasper that appears in the face of that consciousness, existing like the external object of grasping, is merely designated as another part of the object of grasping. In reality, there is no difference between the object of grasping and the grasper, and the nature of the clear and knowing consciousness, appearing as different aspects on one nature, is defiled by the habit of dualistic delusion, like the appearance of two moons. If you say that there is no object of grasping, but there is a grasper, then if either the object of grasping or the grasper does not exist or is not established, both will disappear, because they are interdependent, so it is impossible for them to exist independently. Second, since the object of grasping and the grasper are not established as two, what is the self-knowing and self-illuminating that is empty of the two objects of grasping and graspers? That is the suchness of the conceptualization with dualistic appearance, because that is its ultimate state. Second, the delusion of appearing as different is that external and internal things exist as object and subject, which is only established based on the appearance of the object of grasping and grasper as different, only by the power of mind.

If it is not established in this way, then no phenomena such as one and many can be established. Like this, the establishment of the grasper and the grasped as other entities, if it is not established on the actual object, but is like the appearance of two moons, etc., which are obscured by ignorance. In reality, those phenomena of object and subject are also established by the power of inner obscuration, but in reality they are not established, so those that appear as other entities are also obscured, but in reality they are not other entities. Just as the appearance of two moons is an obscuration, so the appearance of two moons in the external world as if they exist as other entities is also an obscuration, and it is impossible for them to exist without obscuration. Second, debate and answer. The scriptural authority that proclaims the nature of emptiness. If it is emptiness, then refute the contradiction of the appearance of reason. First, the answer to those who do not accept external objects. Explain the meaning of the accepted scriptural authority. First, if there is only the self-awareness of the two emptinesses, then it contradicts the Buddha's sutra which states that all phenomena of aggregates, realms, and sources are empty of their own characteristics. It is not contradictory, because among these two aspects of the grasper and the grasped, for example, in the grasped, the nature of form that can become form, and sounds that can be heard, etc. In the grasper, the separately distinguishing consciousness, the feeling of experiencing, the conception of grasping characteristics, etc., those phenomena that are established, if there is no grasper and grasped, then who sees and with what sees, etc., the nature cannot exist, so there is nothing else called the nature of phenomena. The distinction of the nature of any phenomenon is because the grasper applies such a term to the grasped, therefore, the two emptinesses, for the self-awareness of each, the nature of knowing, speaking, and acting all disappear and are empty, so all phenomena are said to be without self-nature. For whatever appears, all the elaborations that are labeled as such and such are completely pacified, and are distinguished only by suchness. Even so, if that suchness, that wisdom of self-awareness does not exist, then it is impossible for there to be a subject that sees suchness, so no one should realize suchness, therefore, such a two-emptiness self-awareness itself is suchness, and not just suchness like a rabbit's horn, etc., which is nothing. Second, from the point of view of accepting external objects, the meaning of no characteristics is, form
