Therefore, it is reasonable to understand the meaning through it: happiness and so on are knowledge, therefore, the happiness and so on in the realm of sensory consciousness impart forms to themselves, and the forms of external objects are transferred like images in a mirror, the meaning of which is appearance. Such an appearance is also clearly experienced by simultaneous consciousness, therefore it is called experiencing meaning in the world. As it is said, "Experiencing similar things is called experiencing meaning." If analyzed carefully, external objects are not directly experienced, but the non-dual consciousness itself cognizes the forms of objects in the manner of clarity and awareness. These are merely produced in a manner similar to the objects that impart forms, which arose earlier. Therefore, actually experiencing things, this undeniable appearance of objects, is the apprehended aspect that appears as the essence of things. And those apprehended aspects become their own essence, that is, the apprehending aspect that experiences things as not being other knowledge. For example, when seeing external blue and so on, what is like the existence of a blue object externally is the apprehended aspect, and what is like the existence of the consciousness that grasps it internally is the apprehending aspect. Although these two are not different in essence, they appear as two due to delusion. Therefore, because the form is clearly experienced, it is said that sensory consciousness experiences blue and so on. But in reality, the object of perception, such as color, is merely appearing as that form. Therefore, although the object and the subject appear as two, they are non-dual in essence, and the experience is clear without interruption, therefore it is considered to be self-cognizant. Second, refuting the Samkhya school's view that happiness and so on are external objects. It is divided into: stating the view and refuting it. First, some Samkhyas say that happiness and so on exist externally, are the nature of the five tanmatras, and are also without consciousness, and are apprehended by knowledge that is different from themselves. Second, it is divided into: it should not be apprehended by others, it should not be external, and it should not be without consciousness. First, it is divided into: the object and happiness and so on are different, and even if they are considered to be one, it is unreasonable. First, The Samkhya's view is that the wisdom of the senses should not simultaneously grasp both the object and happiness. For example, how to experience blue

Therefore, it is only experiencing that itself, not experiencing happiness and so on other than that. Because those two have different forms, like experiencing happiness and suffering. Second, the nature of external objects such as blue is the same as happiness and so on, just like not exceeding water. Therefore, when grasping blue and so on, merely grasping that pervades grasping that's happiness and so on. Therefore, does sense consciousness simultaneously grasp the object and happiness? If you think so, that is not right. For any dharma that appears as distinct, how can a non-deluded mind grasp that which is not distinct? Like a pillar and a vase. Form and so on appear as shape and color, and feeling appears as coolness, heat, etc., but they are also distinguished by non-deluded wisdom, so those two are not one. If grasping separately also becomes one, then the knowledgeable person and matter would also become one. So, isn't it that although the apprehended aspect and the apprehending aspect appear as two, they are actually considered as one? If you ask this, that is because it is a deceptive appearance, so it does not acknowledge that the aspect of external objects different from consciousness is the ultimate truth. But you consider both the object and happiness to be the ultimate truth, so they are not the same. We also consider that the ultimate truth has only three qualities. If you say this, how can happiness and suffering, these contradictory things, become one? They cannot become one, so in the end, it is impossible to find a single, non-deceptive nature. Second, it is unreasonable for happiness and so on to be external objects. Establishing the thesis and refuting the answer. First, if happiness and so on only exist in external objects, then there is no difference in the external object itself. Even without the difference of the habituation of the inner mind, from one object, the mind of a person would not become different with liking and complete suffering. For everything, only that object must produce no difference in the size of happiness and so on, but because of the difference of inner habituation, various things are seen, so it is unreasonable for happiness to exist in the object. Second, if the inner mind is like the two sides of a mirror, that is also the nature of happiness and so on. Therefore, habituation makes the happiness of the inner mind special, so even if there is no difference in the external object, it is not contradictory that the mind has a difference in the way of experiencing happiness and so on. If you say this, if you want happiness and so on to increase through inner habituation, then the external objects such as form are the nature of happiness and so on.
