Therefore, since that is the distinction of the mind that is without before and after that time, it itself becomes the mind itself. Therefore, the appearance of the image of that object on the mind is called experience, and not appearing is not experience, so when there is experience, one does not experience it as the nature of the mind itself, there is no other way to experience it. If it is not the mind itself that experiences, then it becomes no different from not appearing at all. Therefore, the appearance becomes mind by the sign of clear and knowing experience. Just as it is said in the Ornament of the Middle Way: "Whatever is established by itself, that exists in knowledge." Second, the answer that even knowledge that is not happiness can be experienced. Showing the harm there. First, if external happiness etc. is not its real nature, then whatever is experienced by the object-possessor, whether it is the mind or called "great", like the image on both sides of a mirror, that is awareness. Moreover, the person does not need to have the image of the object appear, but holds the image existing in the mind nakedly and without distinction. Even so, the external object and the inner experience or person, the two are not distinguished, and one mistakenly thinks "I experience", but it is not experiencing with happiness etc. as the nature of knowledge. Second, what can appear is blocked by not observing. There, refute other uncertain answers. Eliminate disputes similar to oneself. First, for knowledge to experience an object, there is manifest experience and experience with the image of remembering previous experience, that is, the two ways of experiencing of non-conceptual and conceptual knowledge, other than that, what is this experience that exists between knowledge and object, relying on what is called "mind"? If there is, then it should be observed through experience, but since neither direct perception nor inference have observed it, it is blocked. Just like the colored sense faculty, if there is no mind, there will be no inference of not holding the object, because it has been established that it is the mind itself that holds it. Therefore, for holding an object, the mind etc. other than the three of sense faculty, object, and attention, is like wanting to regard a tree trunk as a weapon and the source of wounds. Relying on such things as pleasant and unpleasant objects, when the inner mind experiences happiness, suffering, and so on (the word "so on" includes equanimity), only the experience of those happiness etc. will arise, this is seen by self-awareness, between the object and knowledge

Or, the experience that arises in dependence on others is not seen by valid cognition. Second, the object is happiness and the consciousness is different, but when grasping the object, like a lump of iron mixed with fire, because the mind and the object are mixed and confused, in the appearance of experience, it is merely appearing as if there is no difference. If you say that, the example is also not established. Because the moments of the continuum of iron, when they meet with fire at the same time, at the time when a lump of matter with hot touch arises, it is not the case that they exist separately at that time. The meaning is also not reasonable, because even though experience is not mistaken and is grasped as one, if it is not established there, then for all things, establishing them as different and establishing them as non-different will be lost. After making this assertion, in order to establish its meaning, like this, for one pot, just as it is experienced that there is no difference in the nature of one substance of the pot, if it is established that the object is one. Thus, everything that is not mistaken in experience and is grasped as one will also be established as one, and what will not be established? Because the reason is the same. If grasping as one cannot establish it, but it is established that the meaning is characterized by difference, then if this appearing as one is not the reason for its establishment, then the grasping as different, which is the reason for establishing difference, will also not be established, because even if grasping as different, it cannot prevent it from being one, so these two will be the same in all aspects of having and not having valid cognition. Therefore, you think that suffering and external white objects, etc., appear as different in the mind, but you think that they are not different but one, and although the mind and experience appear as non-different, you think that they are different. If so, then for all phenomena, what is the cause or basis for establishing these as different and establishing this as non-different? If establishing one as different must be done from the perspective of the appearance of the non-mistaken mind, if the appearance of the mind cannot establish it, then other establishers cannot be found in the three realms. Third, this fault is also the same for you. You think that even in one mind there are many attendant mental factors, but in the non-mistaken mind experience, the main mind and the attendants do not appear as different, if you say that. That is not the same, because the mind and mental factors are simultaneous minds, although there is no difference in that substance, but from the perspective of the opposite, they are different, because for one mind, there is also the mind that moves towards the object, the experience of happiness, etc.
