Moreover, preventing the initial faults is because the karma generated by craving will not arise, and there is the ability to prevent it. How can the previously done (karma) disappear? It will not disappear. Therefore, in order to eliminate karmic obscurations, reciting dharanis and practicing meditation, etc., it should be known that there is the ability to weaken the future experiences of the mind stream. If, just as karma arises from craving, if karma is not exhausted, then will craving also arise from it? It is not that faults such as attachment arise again from karma, but because of the dominance of craving, one will create karma with faults. Conversely, it is impossible to create karma with faults without craving. If the arising of happiness and suffering from previous karma is without autonomy, then it is impossible for attachment and aversion not to arise from happiness and suffering. How is it possible for someone with karma not to have craving? Without the inverted discriminations arising from the belief in self, and without improper attention, then even from experiencing happiness, craving will not arise, because there is no cause. Thus, seeing selflessness itself is the gate of peace of permanent liberation, and this reasoning of practicing on the non-dual path also establishes the reason, practice, and the manner of definite arising. Second, Sugata: From the protector who teaches the Four Noble Truths, the Well-Gone who knows reality, and because of seeing the true meaning, it is a stability that cannot be taken away by anyone else, going without turning back, and seeing reality thoroughly or completely, or seeing all that exists through its power, therefore it is established that there is wisdom with three distinctions. That is also shown from the perspective of previously abandoning, and here going refers to the meaning of realization, because the reason why the protector speaks of the Four Noble Truths is that kind of wisdom, therefore one can know the Sugata from the protector. Because of having these three special realizations, it is successively superior to the heretics, the noble learners, and the Arhats of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers who are non-learners. Those three differences in wisdom are also very certain by measure, just as the Four Noble Truths are taught, and in the Tripitaka scriptures, they are also shown to be consistent in meaning without contradiction.

Moreover, it can be inferred from the complete and thorough demonstration of the meaning and methods of beings' aspirations through the gate of limitless means. Third is the teacher: because he possesses such special wisdom, it can be understood that he applies or strives for skillful wisdom for the sake of others, because when showing the path of certain salvation to others, he must have the wisdom to know the path. Moreover, this cannot happen without having personally practiced it before, so it is also known that there is a teacher of the causal time. Or, it is not just knowing for oneself, but applying that knowledge for the benefit of others, that is, because he has the ability to apply knowledge to the benefit of others, it is known that he is a teacher, because he will teach others what he knows. Fourth is loving-kindness for the benefit of others: love can be accomplished from the teacher, because such teaching is done for the benefit of others, and even though one's own benefit has been completely accomplished, he will not abandon the act of teaching the Dharma that he has realized. If we measure the path of certain salvation shown in this way, then he is the teacher

Because of having perfect diligence combined with effort, why? Because of protecting sentient beings, one should be extremely respectful, because even if one knows, if one does not teach, one will not be able to protect those to be tamed. Thus, because he showed the path of diligence that does not abandon those to be tamed. Such a teacher is not deceptive to those seeking liberation, therefore, the Buddha Bhagavan is the very measure. Third, the necessity of teaching in this way is: Although the Buddha has immeasurable qualities, praising him in terms of measure is because it is the chief of the Buddha's qualities. Furthermore, in such a way, not making additions, but in the way of abiding in things, to the teacher Buddha Bhagavan, "Having become a measure, wishing to benefit beings," etc., the necessity of the verses of praise made by the teacher Dignāga is: The teaching of the measure-person Buddha Bhagavan, only from the scriptures themselves, can the non-erroneous reality of measuring the reality of things be established, for the sake of showing this meaning, then, what is called measure, is not something that has not been declared in the Buddha's scriptures, but is composed by the teacher himself. Measure is the non-deceptive mind that measures objects without error. The mind that sees the truth of things by measuring without error, like the Buddha's scriptures, exists in the practice of wisdom, but not in other sects that teach in a reversed way, therefore, the non-deceptive truth is established from the Buddha's scriptures, it should be known. How, by what cause, what effect is produced, and what effect depends on what cause, and what is the conventional and ultimate nature of what dharma, is taught without error, only this, and all the meanings spoken by the Buddha are completely included in it. That which is not mistaken is called reason, and such a reason, outside the Buddha's words, there is no one who teaches as it is. In order to prevent the measure arising from sound, etc., the sutra says that those of other sects who speak eloquently are accumulators, I alone speak. Thus it is said, thus seeing is extremely pure, therefore seeing things without error, therefore.
