Just as it is said as a proof of non-permanence. For example: The atom, the subject, is not permanent, because it has a body, like a pot. When it is written like this, in the view of the Owl School (Vaisheshika), the sound of 'having a body' is not established, because they consider the measure of a substance that is not completely gone to be called 'having a body,' and they consider that atoms have no measure, so they are not considered to have a body. According to their view, what is not completely gone is the four elements and mind, and since mind has no measure, they only acknowledge the other four. 'Measure' is a distinction of quality, that is, what appears in the form of four aspects: large, small, long, and short, is called 'having a body.' Buddhists do not consider measure to be a substance, so they do not call measure 'having a body,' but rather they designate what has tangibility as 'having a body.' Thus, although the object of designation called 'having a body' is different, the tangibility that serves as a reason for proving impermanence is something that both opponents must acknowledge exists in both the atom and the pot. Because if the atom did not have tangibility, it would be impossible for them to press against each other to occupy space and form a collection. Therefore, even if we temporarily allow the argument that the sound of 'not having a body' is not established, the fact that tangibility exists, which has become a reason for establishing the meaning, establishes impermanence. If that is established, then whatever has tangibility is also designated as 'having a body,' and that is also without any fault in terminology. Similarly, being obstructive is also not established for the Owl School, because they consider what has parts to be obstructive, but for other colored objects, the meaning of obstructing the existence of others is established for the atomists, so the meaning is established. If the meaning of the reason is confused with what is to be proven, or is contradicted by the unestablished and contradictory meanings expressed by the word 'etc.,' then the mere sound that is stated as the reason is applied to that subject, because this is universally known, so there is no confusion. However, it should be known that such a proof is flawed, because the object that is to serve as the reason is what establishes the object to be proven from that object, and the mere sound cannot establish it. For example: This person, the subject, because of walking and having hands, is proven to have horns and be an elephant in that order. Just as it was said earlier, the expression of the name or sound of 'having walking' and 'having hands'

The objects to be expressed are cow and elephant, which is only because these two are widely known in the world as proper nouns, not because of the speaker's intention. If the intention of expression dominates, then for things that are not cow and elephant, because they also have the ability to walk and have hands, then for people and things, what reason is there not to apply this name? However, this is because fame dominates. Therefore, when a person is called "fire," even if one does not mistakenly think that this person is fire, this does not make the person have the function of burning. Just as in this and the previous case, "How the speaker speaks," etc., it is shown that one should not rely on words, but should rely on meaning, which is proved by the reasoning of strength. Second, regarding harm: it is inferred that cause and non-cause are the same, and it is inferred that irrelevant things are examples of cause, which is stating a very excessive inference. First, if it is thought that the permanent and unchanging Ishvara created everything, then for him, is there a state of making and not making, like a vase? If it does not exist, because there is no time and place where the vase is not made, then it will be inferred that all things exist at all times. If there is a state of not making, then at the time of not making the vase, he will also become a non-cause. If so, because it is impossible to know when it will change from the state of not making the vase, then at all times it will become not the cause of the vase. In this way, he will also become the non-cause of anything. Therefore, if Ishvara is the cause of the thing when it exists, then when the thing does not exist before it is produced and after it is destroyed, he must also be a non-cause. If so, the two, cause and non-cause, are contradictory, and because there is no difference in the state of cause and non-cause, he is permanent, so he will also become the non-cause of all things. Since this is the case, what reason is there to think that Ishvara is the cause of all things, and not think that he is not the cause? Because the two are the same in all respects. Second, if Ishvara considers in advance and makes a vase at a certain time and place, and also does not make a vase at a certain time and place, then what is the contradiction? Making and not making
